[Chapter:17][Reactions on all sides (I totally didn’t almost forget to publish this)]

"What was that…?"

Kuroneko, the most 'normal' of those present, muttered in a daze as she watched the storm that ravaged the living room subside.

Space, which looked like a half shattered orb of glass barely holding on, quickly recovered, until every last trace of the disaster which had almost wiped out Kuoh town disappeared, only a bunch of broken furniture and several plates of strangely unaffected cookies being left at the scene.

And, of course, those present that had been alerted by the clearly supernatural phenomenon, namely the group members as well as Rias' peerage.

"Rias! What happened!?"

A shout full of panic appeared from behind them, and the girls plus Kiba turned around to look at a short haired, spectacles young girl running towards them.

"Sona…"

Rias looked at her best friend and a bitter smile appeared on her face. She, too, would love to know what exactly happened.

"Well, whatever happened, ended.", Tsunade muttered softly.

"And Admin-san disappeared too.", Irene followed.

The two looked at each other, and caught the slightest trace of worry in the others' eyes.

"I still don't get it…although this room looks like a cyclone appeared inside it, how did you even feel it from out in the streets?"

Mikoto looked at Rias and Kaguya, the two who had perceived something wrong happening the earlier, curiously.

Rias looked at Sona who approached them while staring at the group members, strangers to her, cautiously, and sighed before she explained.

"It was the mana. Although mana is normally invisible and cannot be felt, large movements of mana can cause disturbances that most people that are familiar with it can perceive."

"Then how come Irene-san didn't feel it?", Kuroneko asked curiously, to which Irene merely shrugged.

"The magic I use is different. My magic uses Ethernano, not whatever mana present here. I can't even replenish my magic reserves here due to lack of Ethernano. Luckily for me, my magic reserves are quite large. And I have several lacrima which I can siphon Ethernano from if I do run out."

"Ah, so because Irene-san isn't familiar with the energy here, she couldn't sense it?", Mikoto asked, earning a nod from the crimson haired magician.

"Then what about Kaguya-san?"

Kaguya smiled as she waved her hand, making the bodies of the group members sparkle for a moment.

"Simple charms that would alert me if something were to happen to any of you."

Irene and Tsunade narrowed their eyes, as they realised that, despite being quite strong themselves, they didn't even feel her actions. Though, recalling that she was literally a time stopper, they stopped caring.

"Err…although I don't understand what you all are talking about, can someone tell me what's going on here? And who are you all?"

Looking at the scene, Sona understood that the girls present were friends of Rias. Other than the seemingly normal looking Kuroneko and Mikoto, the other three sent chills up the Sitri heiress' spine.

'Who are they…especially that crimson haired woman! She feels like…like an abyss of magic…just how much mana does she have!?'

What Sona sensed from Irene was, of ourselves, not mana from DxD, but Ethernano from the world of Earthland. As a Devil, she was naturally sensitive to different kinds of energies, and could sense the large amounts of vitality and chakra from hidden within Tsunade's body.

Although she could also sense the spiritual power inside Kaguya, the latter hid too deeply for a mere high class devil to detect her properly.

But in Sona's view, Irene had a monstrous quantity of magic inside her mature, beautiful body, just waiting to burst out and destroy anything in her path…

"Sona, these are my friends who came from far away. As for what happened here, I don't really know the details, but it was done by another friend who just left so it shouldn't be dangerous…probably."

Sona, hearing the explanation, looked at Rias speechlessly, but they couldn't converse anymore as several powerful auras sprang up from beyond the town, rapidly approaching it.

"…"

"…"

"…"

"…"

The Four Great Seraphs, Michael, Raphael, Uriel, and Gabriel, looked at each other in silence.

"Have you all felt it?", Michale, the golden winged one and current leader of Heaven, asked softly.

"Yes brother." Raphael nodded in affirmation as he recalled the quake in mana all over the worlds, from Earth, to the Heavens, to the even the dimensional gap.

"I have just spoken to Azazal and Satan Leviathan. They both confirm that the quake spread to the Underworld as well. Also, both of them said they would be heading to a place on Earth called Kuoh town as they are closer to it to begin their investigation."

"Odin answered my call. It, whatever it was, happened in Asgard as well."

"It happened everywhere on Earth. Or rather, it originated from Earth. Nearly all the pantheons have responded and given a positive answer."

"Zeus hasn't yet responded, but judging by the blasts of erratic thunder around there, it is safe to say this incident has spread to Olympus as well. He has the habit of destroying everything his eyes fall on in a rage whenever something out of his control occurs in his domain."

"…"

Michael, alone, remained silent throughout the discussion, which the three seraphs caught as they looked at him curiously. He opened his mouth, and uttered words that shook them all to their core.

"Father…father's resurrection has quickened."

"…!"

*bang!*

The words feel like thunder as the three archangels stood up in shock, their expressions soon turning to ones of joy, yet Michael alone remained despondent and thoughtful.

'Why…why would father's prophecy…'

. . . . . .

"Did you feel it, Ajuka?"

"Yes of course. It cost me the results of an experiment I had been working on for a month now."

Ajuka Beelzebub, formerly Astaroth, sighed as a single mistake, cause by the quake in the entire underworld's mana, caused Eh entire month's efforts to waste.

As he looked around, however, he was surprised at the sight before him.

"Falbium? You are not asleep in this meeting? This is a surprise."

Falbium Asmodeus, formerly known as Falbium Glasya-Labolas, looked at the distance and smiled.

"Somehow I had been having this feeling from yesterday that someone who shares my ideals and with whom I would get along really well appeared. It's a strange feeling, but it strangely makes me happy."

"Huh."

Ajuka looked at his fellow Satan with a weird expression, but was distracted as a petite, cheerful figure burst into the room.

"Magical girl Levi-tan is here!"

"Welcome, Serafall. It is good to see you as cheerful as ever."

Sirzechs Lucifer né Gremory greeted Serafall Laevatein née Sitri with a chuckle.

"Now that everyone is here…", a figure among them, not one of the four Satans yet of nearly equal status, know as the 'First Great King' Zekram Bael, cleared his throat as he began, "Everyone here is aware of why we have gathered?"

"Yes."

"Good. This incident has occurred in Earth, yet has somehow spread not only throughout the world, but even to the domains of the pantheons, to separated dimensions such as Asgard, to the Underworld, to the Heaven, and even into the dimensional gap."

"Two of you, Satan Lucifer and Satan Asmodeus, will remain in the Underworld for safety, whereas Satan Beelzebub and Satan Laevatein will head to Earth in order to investigate. We cannot, due to the scope of the incident, determine exactly where it originated from, but we could tell it appeared first around areas of Southern and Eastern Asia, the Pacific Ocean, and Australia."

"We're going to Earth? Yay~! I get to see So-tan again!"

"Serafall, please take this seriously…forget it. We'll visit your younger sister, Japan falls under the area affected anyway."

Ajuka began, yet facing the glare of his companion who looked like she wouldn't hesitate to drop an iceberg on him should he get in her way of meeting her little sister, could only sigh in defeat.

"Let's go~! To Kuoh town~!"
