[Chapter:18][A face off?]

"They're coming."

Irene looked at the edge of the town, from where emerged auras strong enough to even make her serious.

"They are strong. I might not be able to take on more than twenty of them."

"…"

Her words made those present, who could more or less guess who were approaching, feel rather speechless.

'Do you think Satan class Devils and six winged Angels and Fallen Angels are Chinese cabbages?'

No one asked the foolish question, however, as soon enough, several silhouettes appeared from the horizon. They, too, seemed to have noticed the strong strangers present, as a fairly powerful barrier soon covered the whole of Kuoh Academy, more for the purpose of hiding themselves from the civilians than for any other purpose.

"People from all three factions and more are here…", Mikoto muttered while Kuroneko named them all, "Serafall Laevatein and Ajuka Beelzebub from the Devil faction, Gabriel and Saldalphon from the Heaven, Azazal and Vali from Grigori…Odin and Rossweiss from Asgard…"

The eight people stopped midair as they looked at the girls present. Their gazes, however, were focused more on the calmly smiling Kaguya then on Irene.

Unlike Sona, they, despite being unable to see her true power, could sense the danger their instinct honed through thousands of battles informed them off. The crimson haired woman in casual clothing and the blonder haired woman in a green kimono were both dangerous, yet not nearly as much as the beautiful woman smiling elegantly while just floating a few inches above the ground.

Their instincts screamed at them, and they all knew that the moment they tried to attack, their heads might no longer continue resting atop their shoulders.

"…"

For a brief moment, the situation remained in a tense, terrifying silence, and the oppressive atmosphere made the members of Rias' and Sona's peerage, who had appeared at some point, and even Sona herself, short of breath. Rias, alone, despite a little nervous, wasn't much bothered as she knew quite well the might of the girls beside her.

Of course, that didn't mean she would let them fight.

"Everyone, why don't you come down and take a seat? We can discuss things with tea."

Befitting a heiress, she smiled elegantly as she invited the eight people into the ORC building, calmly offsetting the tense situation.

Her words cleared off the dangerous and oppressive atmosphere as a black blur suddenly impacted Sona.

"So-tan! I'm here to see you~!"

"Ugh! Onee-sama!"

Sona fell on her back as Serafall climbed up her and hugged her tightly. Ajuka sighed as he slowly levitated down, and the others, who were more or less aware of her bubbly personality, chuckled as they landed.

"We shall impose upon you, then, Heiress of Gremory."

Rias' eyes twitched since she disliked being associated with her family, but calmed herself as she knew her status as a heiress was one of the few things that she had differentiating her from a common Devil, that, and her Power of Destruction which she had just a day ago begun training.

Just as they were about to walk forward, however…

*rumble!*

The sky darkened, black-grey clouds covering the entire town, and the sound of thunder reverberated the whole region as flashes of lightning covered the gloomy heaven.

"Ah, he is here."

Odin looked at the incoming monstrous aura, which it's owner did not even bother concealing, and laughed softly.

"King of Olympus, Zeus…"

Mikoto's eyes narrowed as she felt her ability of controlling electricity weaken considerably. It was the difference in authority between a mortal ESPer, who merely sought to influence and borrow one of the most powerful forces of nature, and a God who rules over it.

*boom!*

With a bright flash of lightning, a horrible pressure descended on all those present, the weaker ones falling into a daze as their minds and ears buzzed, and blood rushed to their faces.

"What a pompous one." Irene grinned as she waved her hand, easily dispersing the pressure faced by those weaker. Rias and Sona looked at her gratefully before attending to their peerage members, who were more or less shaken.

The other present narrowed their eyes at the scene of a young woman easily offsetting the aura of one of the strongest Gods in the world.

At the same time, the sound of thunder made the nearby glass break while a silhouette appeared before them all.

"Will you not invite me, crimson haired girl?"

A deep, husky voice bellowed as Zeus appeared in all his glory, his eyes fixed on the bodies of the most beautiful women present.

Gabriel tilted her head in pure innocence, not knowing what to make of the heated gaze the God of Sky and Thunder was directing towards her, while Tsunade and Kaguya ignored it entirely, long used to having lustful gazes fixed onto them.

"…!"

Irene, on the other hand, was different. As one of the most powerful magicians in her world, as one of the strongest generals of her kingdom, when had she ever been looked at with anything other than respect and reference? Even her fellow generals dared not look at her so insolently.

"Looks like Olympus will be having its King changed today."

Her voice froze those present as anger flashed through Zeus' eyes.

"What did you just say, wo-"

He couldn't finish his sentence.

*crack!*

The sound of space shattering echoed throughout the ears of all those present. Even the howling wind and the thunderous gales couldn't hide it.

*crack* *crack!* *CRACK*

Behind Zeus, the world itself cracked and shattered into countless pieces, breaking apart.

"…!"

And from within came an overwhelming, terrifying presence.

'What!?'

'Impossible!'

Those present couldn't even speak, their bodies frozen in utter terror, as a huge, crimson reptilian head with a long metallic horn emerged from the crack.

*growl*

Great Red's jaw opened wide, cyclonic winds emerging from within as what one could indenting as a 'sigh' caused the clouds in the sky to disperse without a trace. Gone was the authority of the king of Olympus, as he remained frozen midair with the terrifying maws of the True Dragon surrounding him, before…

*gulp*

"…"

"…"

"!!!"

For a moment, the whole world seemed to have fallen silent. Then, the Dragon God of Dreams tilted its mouth up and burped. It's body then emerged from within the crack, hovering midair for a brief few seconds, before it flew away, the space before it shattering into pieces as it disappeared into the dimensional gap.

"…"

The place remained completely silent even seconds after the cracks healed and disappeared, before Kaguya looked at the shocked Irene and chuckled.

"You should become a prophet, Irene-san."

She then looked at those present, still awed and gobsmacked at the shocking turn of events.

"Will you still be staying for tea?"

"…"
