The Girl Death cared about.

Snow fell from the sky, it piles upon the ground, and the streets, and the houses around it. A winters breeze chilled those who were unfortunate to be left out there. Like the little girl who sat in a cardboard box for shelter. She shivered violently like a angry washing machine. All she had was tattered cloth, and a piece of fabric she found in the dumpster. She never had a good life from the beginning, a abusive father, and a mother who was too drunk to care. Beaten, and hungry she ran away.

The girl gazed at the sky as the flakes fell upon her box, which was dented and soggy. She wanted to scream but nothing could come out from her throat, but a couple of grunts, and groans. Her eyes slowly getting heavier, even with all her strength, she couldn't keep them from closing further, and further, but just as she thought it was over, the girl saw a figure.

He stood tall above her, his presence filled with a slight calming feeling, like a warm hug she never felt before, she had a gut feeling things are okay now. His hand held her, even though they gave her chills, she didn't feel cold. His cloak wrapped around her body, feeling the hard bones of his chest.

With all her might she could finally speak to the man. "Where are we going mister?"

His voice was grainy, and rough, yet gentle like the soft breeze of the ocean.

"Somewhere, where nobody shall hurt you ever again." She let out a soft sigh of relief. "Is it a nice place?"

"Yes very, you can run around in sunshine all day, and there's no nighttime, so you'll never have to go to bed. You can eat sweats, and play in the tree's with the rest of the children, and lay in the meadows filled with flowers, and rose bushes without thorns."

"That sounds like a beautiful place, will you come visit?" The man chuckled "I shall come to visit you, don't worry." She let out a smile with so much sunshine, it'd make the rain disappear. "Promise?"

"Yes, I promise to you, now come on. Let's go, enough of this cold winter."
