Live, Love, and loneliness

A man sat on the sidewalk holding a depressed looking rose in his hand. The man felt a void within his gentle heart. He felt the sky cry with him. Poring out all it had, just like how he gave up all he had, to please a greedy heart of stone.

Now it's just him and the moon watching him above. He watched as the cars drove by. He couldn't help but feel envious seeing couples walk by with umbrellas in their hands, and each other in their arms.

It's fine he'll get over it, like the thousands of other women that have passed his path. He just wished the pain would end.

He could hear the sounds of tires sliding across concrete, he felt himself airborne like a bird off to touch the silky clouds, but he was ripped right back down, he hit the hard wet floor.

Dazed and confused, he felt so cold, like as if he was laying in icy cold water. He felt the world spin. He had such a horrible headache, his head throbbing with pain. He felt something wet all over him, maybe it was because he landed In a puddle. He finally gained focus, he could see people gathering around him. All of them with the grim look of extreme terror.

The man finally realized what is going on. The moment he noticed the blood pouring from his body like a waterfall. He lost so much he could paint a whole painting with it. He felt himself loose focus again. He finally didn't feel so cold anymore, he felt as if the warm feeling of summer fell upon his body.

He felt so tired. He couldn't hold his eyes open anymore. They felt so heavy like they gained the weight of a bag filled to the brim with heavy stones.

When he woke up again all he could see was one bright star of the sky. A large shadowy man stood before him. "Do not worry for your broken heart shall be mended into a new, nobody shall hurt you ever again, no more rain will pour upon your gentle soul for sunshine shall replace it."

As he finished his sentence the gentle star of the night filled the dark empty sky.
