The Angel

It was a cold rainy day the vast trees danced for they have finally been given water as it has been weeks since it's last rained. Though it wasn't just raining from up above, because down below rain came from a little lost boy. His small hands whipping away the tears on his tiny face. When the boy finally stopped crying he could hear barely audible music from the distance.

The boy not knowing where to go followed the sound. As the boy grew closer the music got louder, until the music was so loud it echoed powerfully like the mighty roar of a lion, yet it was soft, and majestic. It made the scared lost little boy feel warm like he was never lost to begin with.

Finally the boy could find where the music came from. It was a girl holding a lyre within her hands. Her soft silky hair moved like ocean waves, and her skin was as smooth as ice. She wore a snow white dress made of silk. She had light irradiating off of her, she was like a Angelic being. Her song pulled the boy closer.

When his foot cracked a twig it startled the majestic woman as she ran away out of fright. The lost boy never forgot that woman. When he was found nobody seemed to believe him, not his friends, not his worried parents. Everyone thought he must had hit his head.

The boy never stopped hopping to find this Angel one day. So soon the boy grew, and he turned into a man, and the man turned into a old man. His short chocolate brown hair turned grey. His little face grew larger, and more wrinkled. After years of searching he still couldn't find the woman.

He got to the point he didn't have the energy to search anymore. So the man finally gave up, his determination turned into hopelessness. He began to wonder if he had wasted away his life. All these years he wanted to hear her music. He wanted to feel the warmth once again.

Though finally when he laid in his deathbed he could hear a woman's voice. It was power, but soft, and majestic, and his little tears crept down his little cheek.

The woman he searched for, he could see her once again. He reached out towards the woman he'd been searching for.

"Oh how I missed you my dear wife, how I searched for you when you left me. Now I can finally join you my sweat Angel."
