Last name.

It's been a while, jack slowly open's his eye. He can feel the warmth of a person, said person is carrying him. He is trying to collect his memories as he slowly regains consciousness. He turns his head around just to see green plains. He then looks down to the person carrying him, it's a familiar well built female, or so he had been told, his head was leaning on said person's left shoulder. He turns his head right to face said person, said person is looking forward without paying him any attention.

"E-excuse me..." jack said with his eyes looking dead.

"What?" Lena said in an annoyed tone.

"C-can you p-put me down? I-I can walk the rest on my own.." jack said turning his face away.

Lena turned her face to the boy on her left only to see the back of his head, he had turned away to avoid her gaze, but she could see a hint of red on his peaking ear. She sighed and crouched down.

"T-thank you..." jack thanked her as he got off on his own.

As he got to stand on his own, he moved his legs around slightly only to notice Lena has already started moving again.

"Hey! wait for me!" jack said as he suddenly started jogging towards her.

"What is it now?" Lena asked.

"Why did you move so suddenly? Do you not want me around...? Am I being a bother...?" Jack said.

He then raised his head to Lena's face who hadn't replied to him yet, she was moving silently without saying anything. He was standing on her left so he could see her normal side, but even that felt distant.

"What about you? Why are you deciding to stick with me?" Lena answered the question with another question.

"It's because... because... I'm lost..." Jack said turning his gaze downwards.

"So does that mean you have a point you would like to reach?" Lena asked.

"N-no... I'm... just lost..." jack said.

"And what is that supposed to mean?" Lena asked uncaring.

"I need someone, ok! I do not understand anything of what is happening around me right now! Like hell how the fuck did I even end up here! One second I was shot in the back of an alley and the other I was somehow in front of that tree! And what the hell even is this thing! It keeps obstructing my view for no reason whatsoever acting all bossy and shit! I didn't ask for this! I didn't ask for any of this! I want to go back! I want to fix everything! If I was given another chance why the fuck was it here in this god forsaken hellhole! I don't want no magic and monster slaying shit, I want to go back home! back to my parents, family, and friends! I did them wrong and I want to fix it, but I can't anymore because of my own fucking stupidity! I hate this, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate!" The boy said as he slowly started to tear up midway through.

The boy had stopped moving as soon as he started shouting and Lena's steps were also put to halt as she heard the boy scream.

Lena turned to the boy and pointed further down the path.

"There is a village up head, should take us around an hour to get there. You can ask them directions or whatever, up until then you can stick with me." Lena said looking at the boy who started sobbing.

Jack gives Lena a hesitant nod and gets back up.

Lena turned to continue moving and jack hurriedly followed.

They spent some time moving in silence until jack broke it.

"By the way, You asked me where I was going, but I never got to know where you were going..." jack said hesitant to ask.

"No where in particular... just searching for someone." Lena said.

"Oh! Then do you have any clues? How are you searching for them?" Jack asked happy to get a reply.

"Intuition." Lena said with a straight face.

"..." Jack's image of Lena was shattered.

"T-then that means you at least have an idea of where that person would be?" Jack said hoping for a better answer.

"No." Lena said with a straight face.

"..." Another shattered image.

"He is continuously moving, I don't know since when, but he has been continuously moving without stop, searching for such a guy is impossible. Especially with how much he avoids social places and interactions." Lena said.

"What? so he is a guy who refuses to go outside, while always being outside?" jack said confused.

"Well, can you really say he goes outside when he has always been outside?" Lena joked.

"Oh, I guess that is somewhat true..." Jack didn't get the fact that lena was joking.

Lena's face turned to an annoyed expression.

"And you what about you huh?! You sure have the audacity to question me when you haven't said a single thing about yourself!" Lena said obviously annoyed.

"R-right... sorry..." Jack turned his face away half spooked.

"So tell me, what happened to you yesterday? Even though I had told you not to get away, you were quite far when you were screaming for your life." Lena said returning to her usual uncaring look, but with a slight hint of annoyance to it this time around.

"I don't know... I was sitting next to you as you were sleeping, and then out of nowhere a blue window popped up in front of me... it had said something about 'testing'." Jack said looking at the palm of his hand.

"testing? blue window? are you by any chance hallucinating?" Lena said.

"No! It was real! I remember it clearly, It's even still there right now! Can't you see it Lena? It even has our named on the top left!" The boy claimed outrageously.

"What? top left of what? You sure you didn't hit your head?"

"Of your vision! sight! I do not know what to call it. Just to the top left of you! it's there, it clearly says 'jack' and 'Lena Jitrochi.'!" Jack exclaimed.

Lena with full widened eyes turned around and raised jack by his collar.

"What did you just say?!" Lena said with her eyes narrowed looking deeply into what felt like the boys soul.

"T-that our names are there! a-at the t-top right..." The boy said as he flailed his legs around.

"Our names! What did you say our names were!" Lena shouted at the boy who's panicking.

"O-our n-name! right! a-aaahhhh... 'j-jack' and 'Lena j-jitrochi'" As soon as he had finished reading them out he felt his body fly backwards through the sky and then hit the ground.

"H-hey what's the big idea!" The boy said rubbing his back.

He raised his head to look at Lena only to find her standing there, right in front of him staring, down at him. Not in her usual uncaring expression, but when that screamed to know, screamed for knowledge. One that could take his life away if not satisfied.

"Where did you hear that name... 'jitrochi' you didn't come up with it... Where did you hear this?!" Lena didn't understand why she even cared, but her 'self' begging to know.

"I-I j-just r-r-read it off o-of the t-thing I-I was telling you a-about!" the boy said in a panic.

"I-it's right there, on the top left of your sight! I-it should be there." The boy said begging for his life to continue moving.

"There is nothing!" Lena shouted at the boy.

"Stop bullshitting me! Talk! 'jistrochi'! Where did you head that name!" Lena shouted demanding answers.

"Oh, I see... you are with them aren't you! those bastards who put me through this, to think they would send you to keep watch after me... Should've expected such after all that wasn't a simple everyday task huh..." Lena was calming down yet talking gibberish in the boy's point of view.

"T-them? w-who are you talking about?" The boy asked honestly confused.

"Don't play dumb with me now! You were sent to keep me in check, so that I don't blabber about them to anyone if I get caught, or actually..." As Lena was saying that the boy could feel his life flash right before him.

Suddenly Lena had unsheathed the weapon on her hip and held it to the boys neck.

"You were sent to kill me." Lena claimed.

The boy shook his head continuously, 'no I wasn't' 'what are you talking about!' 'I'm just a mere lost kid' the boy thought to himself too scared to utter a single word.

Lena knew she wasn't going to kill the boy, even if he was after her life, she did not have the guts to end another life at that moment. she merely wanted answers, but the boy kept silent. his breath was heavy, his chest was rapidly bumping, and if she listened well enough she could probably hear his heart beat.

His actions didn't make sense to her, if it was true what she had thought, why would he expose himself? and why in that way? What if she had not recognized that name and just thought of it as gibberish? his actions didn't match Lena's theory.

But all of that was merely side thought in the back of Lena's head, what really concerned her was, why? why had she known that name? and why did she know that it had belonged to her?

She finally came back to her senses and sheathed her sword. She crouched down to the boys level which had prompt him to drag himself backwards a bit.

"Sorry... but could you tell me more about this 'name' and 'testing' thing..." Lena said with an apologetic face.

"Y-yes! O-of course!" The boy said glad to see another day.
