System.

"H-Hold on... So you are telling me there is weird letters that just randomly show up and either tell you information or what to do? and you are the only one who can see them?" Lena asked confused as she walked around like a headless chicken.

"Well, I don't know about only one , but you sure can't see them..." the boy replied.

"Have you always been like this?" Lena asked the boy sitting down next to him.

"It started when I got here..." The boy replied lowering his head.

"And how did you get here?" Lena asked leaning towards the boy.

"I-I don't know..." The boy said in a sad tone.

"Nothing? absolutely nothing? Like were you drugged? blacked out? drunk? just what is the last thing you remember?!" Lena asked almost begging.

"I don't know okay! I have absolutely no idea! Last thing I fucking remember was dying, so how the fuck did I end up here?!" the boy asked holding his head.

"O-ok calm down... calm down..." Lena said quickly standing with both of her hands raised in front of her torso.

"Then about the system... other than our names is there anything else?" Lena asked the boy whom slowly raised his head towards her.

"Y-yeah there is this menu thin- WOO!" the boy said falling backwards.

"What happened?!" Lena quickly put her right hand on the grip of her sword still sheathed and looked around for any type of danger.

"A window just suddenly popped up..." the boy said.

"Window?" Lena asked calming down.

"Yeah does things that I was telling you about, the weird letters." The boy said pointing at the air in front of him

"That is what you call a window where you are from?" Lena asked.

"Well, yes... but we also have regular windows the see through type..." The boy said dejected.

"So what does it say?" Lena asked the boy sitting back down.

"It's a list of sort. A bunch of names with numbers next to them. Hmmmm.... Oh I see they are skills! Right here it says skill name then what it costs in terms of mana or hp." The boy said excited.

"W-what? Please explain..." Lena said disappointed in herself.

"Basically it's like video games! You know when you put in a command and the character on screen does it!" jack said.

"Ok, I've had enough, either talk sense or we can just ignore this, I've lost all interest." Lena said feeling utterly stupid.

"Wait, I can demonstrate." The boy said grabbing Lena's arm.

"Just sit and watch." The boy said pulling her back down as he stands up.

The boy walks a couple of steps forward and then raises his right palm above his head. He takes a deep sigh then says.

"Fire!"

Just then as if he had lit a lighter a flame appeared for a short period of time before disappearing.

"Holy shit! Let's gooo!" the boy said jumping around looking at his arm excited.

"Did you see that! I did that! Me! Woooooooooooooooo!" the boy couldn't calm down.

"Fire!" "Fire!" "Fire!" "Fire!"

A short flame kept appearing a disappearing from the boys palm each time he screamed.

"Fire!" "Fire!" "Fire!" "Fire!" "Fire!" "Fire!" "Fire!" "Fire!" "Fire!" "Fire!" "Fire!" "Fire!"

He kept screaming as he sprayed it at the air around him.

"Fir--...." And then collapsed to the ground.

*Sigh* Lena sighed as she went to pick up his body and continue moving towards the village.

(So that was our problem...)

Slightly opening his eyes the boy finds himself leaning on a table, his body fully hunched over while his head rests on it, he is sitting on a wooden chair and so was the table he had been resting his head on. He looks to his left and finds Lena sitting there with her arms crossed snoring.

He puts his right hand on her and slightly shakes her.

"Excuse me, Lena... Helloooooooo... Lenaaaaaaaaa..." he said trying to wake her up.

She didn't respond.

The boy then looks around to find himself a crowded place, bunch of men drinking and laughing, women in what seemed like old worn out attire serving them with a welcoming smile. he wondered how Lena could even sleep in a place like this.

He stood up and decided to have a walk around.

(So we reached the village she was talking about.) The boy thought to himself as he walked around.

The place seamed out of this world for him either that or really well preserved, for such a thing to even exist in his world was impossible. It was just... so old.

A couple of houses made mostly of wood or cheap material, with a couple of stables here and there, and on the sides of the village were crops crossing the horizon.

Looking at the scenery his face couldn't but loosen up, a calm expression covered it as he gazed at the peaceful world.

But, that had only made him feel worse... in what world does someone like him deserve peace and happiness. A memory from his past played once again as he cursed his life.

But before he could have any kind of bad thought he could hear screaming from inside the village.

"SHE BEAT THE BOSS AFTER HER." A couple of men were running as they said that.

The boy quickly ran behind them wondering what had happened in such a peaceful place.

Following the man who couldn't help but notice that he is taking the exact same route he took coming out of that bar like place.

And as he took the final turn towards the bar he saw a man flying out of the door.

"Brother!" The two men he followed screamed as they ran towards the man, they then turned their head towards the bar, which had made their expression go from worry for their 'brother' to straight anger.

They ran in and merely moments later were sent out flying in the exact same fashion.

(Lena!) The boy thought worried about his traveling companion.

He then sprinted towards the bar to take a peak only to see a woman leave before he could even reach the bar.

"Here I left you the repair costs on the table there, now if you'll excuse me." Lena said as she was looking at someone inside the bar.

"Oh... you saw that..." Lena said as she noticed the boy looking at her.

"D-did you do that?" the boy asked.

"Yes." Lena said with a straight uncaring face.

"you just beat up innocent people!" The boy said with an angered expression.

"Innocent? well they could've been in some kind of sense, but they started it." Lena's uncaring face turned serious.

"I was didn't do anything and they started threatening me." Lena said slowly approaching the boy.

"So whether they were innocent or not, I do not care. I don't know where you are from boy, but this is how it's going to be from now on, so you can either come with me, or go and be a goody two shoes." Lena said passing the boy.

The boy took a peak into the bar saw the piled up men who were laughing and drinking seconds ago cursed himself and went back to Lena.

Lena takes a quick glance at the boy and says.

"bad choice kid, bad choice."
