First POV
"Where am I? Wait. WHO am I? And why am I talking to myself?".
Trying to recollect the things I saw in that space? was like trying to catch oxygen in a sieve. Strange, foreign memories flew through my mind. The most nonsensical of information was made available to me.
Like, I really didn't want to know that my neighbour was insecure about his love life or that my 8th Grade Maths teacher was a pedophile. I remember seeing Superman dressed up as a Milkman, making out with a shadow?
There was some useful information as well. For example, if someone were to ask him anything about Mana, he could provide a 30,000 word essay on it easily. Unfortunately, this world evidently did NOT have Mana, rendering his knowledge useless.
His brain worked overtime managing these memories and locked away most of them, to prevent itself from overheating.
"I see", was the only response I could give. It wasn't that I didn't remember by family or friends, just that I could not attach any emotion to their memory.
My mind focused on finding a way out of my current situation and immediatel, was distracted.
Did I mention that I was currently in a hostile environment? (with how I "kept myself in shape" a children's park would be a hostile environment)
Trees that were the size of trees, air that was about as pure as air, a sleeping Monster that was monstrous and a pond that was full of scum.
I think I missed something important.
"...Nah. Couldn't be that important if I can't remember it."
I walked towards the sleeping Monster, calmly climbed on top of its exoskeleton and went to sleep.
Monster POV
It was born on the remains of a battlefield.
Blood, Death and Gore were the first things that greeted it after birth.
Its first meal was the decayed intestines of a soldier.
It went from battlefield to battlefield, hiding, but devouring those weaker than itself. It realised that it got stronger the more it ate.
Drunk with power, it attacked someone much stronger than itself and nearly died.
A 100 years later, it destroyed the kingdom of the one that had harmed it.
It knew of nothing but Hunger, Violence and Carnage.
Until it met another, similar to itself. They bonded over the skulls of Lords, enjoyed the hunt for ants together and finally, 50 years later, decided to attempt to procreate. It was the first time it could feel something in its monstrous heart.
They discovered that they procreated through "seeding" parts of themselves in places where death was abundant and regret ran rampant, with the seed absorbing at least a century of hate and guilt. However, before it could attempt to make any more of their species, it's partner was taken from it.
6 Human Kingdoms put aside their differences and led a raid against it.
After it barely defeated those who tried hunting it, it felt something in its heart once again. But this time, it knew what it was. Grief, Sadness and Melancholy overtook it and it sat down near it's partners body and rested its weary head. It lay there for another 30 years, unmoving.
Now, after so long, it felt something. Not in it's heart, but on it's back.
Third POV
After decades of slumber, The Undead Calamity had awoken. Kingdoms prepared for war and took measures to minimize casualties. Strong men, women and beasts around the world roused themselves, as the 6th Great Calamity of the World, announced it's presence once more.
And the young man who was the root of all of this commotion, lay blissfully unaware, sleeping on the back of the strongest Bone Dragon that ever non-lived.
