25. Catch On!

Naya grabs her hand to stop while the other hand points at herself, "Nurret, why me? What about you two?" Her voice shook with surprise.

Ellie nods disapproved, her face puppy, "You've passed out since yesterday, besides, we've eaten breakfast while you ate none..."

Naya raised her brow weirdly, her pitch interrupting Ellie's protest, "Aw! Can't you see It was your grumbling stomach that woke me...?"

Simultaneously as she was speaking, their stomach grumbled, they turned their gaze sideways, defeating while Naya smiles inwardly, she jerked to her throat twice, then, gaze at the food, she feels her appetite drained and more disgust by it.

"I can't eat, I have to see Nick first," She mumbled in a fainting voice while staring through their faces.

"You can both eat." She nods, her face grumpy at them.

"My Lady, but you can't meet him not until His Lord..."

"Wait!" Naya covers her mouth, Nurret gulps down her stuck word, Naya listens patiently, she seems to hear a whistle that sounded just like her secret whistling style of communicating with Nick.

She jolted happily, "Nick?!"

She rushes to the window, her gaze returning to Nurret, scolding as she blabs, "Did they say to you to lock the window too? No wonder I'm stuffy," Her hands parade over the window.

Nurret could only watch her in numbness while Naya open it, peeping her head outside as if she could grab Nick from there.

Distance away was Nick waving his hand up towards her, Naya jiggle up and down on her spot like a kid who just found her lost toy, her hand wave across her face, immediately she whistle to him,

"I'm coming down!"

Nick waves his hands apart, "No! Don't do that..."

Before Nick could complete her whistling, Naya step on the window, Ellie and Nurret rush towards her, "My Lady! Please don't commit suicide!" She managed to scream but before they reach her, Naya had already jumped.

Nick could not react, his gaze was on her as Naya spreads her arms flying down, "Catch on!" She shouted.

Whereas Nick stood unguarded, he baffles how Naya catch up with their last teaching with Apel Miyam, she sure put the teaching into practice?

Naya landed on him, he went backward to the ground, falling... "Ouch!"

Naya frowned, she feels disappointed that Nick did not catch her but let her crash him to the floor, laying still she mumbles with a stain of regret,

"Come on Nick, I said to catch on... Why?!"

Nick shrinks her face like being hit with heavy iron, "You're too heavy Naya, I thought you will land in my front," He pushed her to the side.

Naya sneered, "Don't you eat? I should be the one who loses weight!" She stand up, her gaze return to the window, Nurret clipped her lips in defeat while Ellie watch them with a mild face.

Naya smiles and waves her hand at them in goodbye, she grabs Nick instantly, "Nick! We have to go now!"

Nick was surprised, he had come to see if she has woken up but now, she is dragging him to sneak out again, No way! Can't she just take some days off?

"Where?" He stifled to the ground.

Naya dragged him but he insisted, she wrinkled her face and push him harder, "Are you asking me? We need to get to the Yellow House now, we've missed two days already, Master won't spare us!"

She rants on her continuous push, hearing her, Nick relaxed, then, she pushes him over that they almost fall over again.

"Geez!" Nick caresses his hair hastily.

Naya run while Nick was behind her, he wonder where she got her energy from. Aside from being human, Naya takes after all their adaptive levels that no one will ever doubt she is not a werewolf. Most time, it surprised Nick that Naya seems to understand some techniques far ahead of him without being taught, she bears a small body but she's stronger from within, very active and energetic, he knew that most time he couldn't defeat her or else he will cheat, she is faster in reasoning but extremely playful.

All these, Nick wouldn't deny, he missed her in those short time he's not with her,

While Naya runs, she feels the burden in her heart decreasing, now all that is in her mind was to get to the Yellow House where they practice combat that is secretly led by Apel Miyam. This started when they were 10 years of age when Apel Miyam caught Naya clung around him, he asked what she'd like to become, but Naya said she wanted to be stronger than him.

Apel Miyam was surprised that a little girl like her could have such ambition in a world where females are powerless, but Naya insisted, she compel that Apel Miyam is also female but why is it exceptional for her?

He told Naya if she's going to be a warrior, she will pay a sacrifice of not having a mate just like her who is now termed, male. However, Naya conquered him when he hesitated; she is not going to live forever with them and it will get to a point where she will have to protect herself but without an ability, she fears the King and his family will be in danger because of her.

She'd need to possess an ability.

Henceforth, Apel Miyam took 2hrs out of his time to train them every midnight at the Yellow House but this is just a secret between the three since females in their Kingdom are not to be taught in a way of men, they believed they wouldn't learn the teachings of good homing and hardly would they be submissive.

Just as she was running, she heard the growling of Nick behind her, she look down to see him bypass her in wolf form running faster,

"Hey!"

"You cheated! I won't take that! Cheater!!"

Nick turn abruptly to her, he squabble his furs with a heavy huff, her tongue salivated in mocking, then, he turn to resume running,

"Aish!!!' Naya screamed in defeat!
