I zoom in my vision on the farmland. There are normal crops being grown. Along with crops I've never read about nor learned about. They could possibly be alien.
There are a large amount of barns though. Crop farms usually wouldn't have so many barns.
I decided to wait until the morning sitting atop a tree to see what animals were in the barns.
It was a clam wait. The sounds of night creatures filled my ears. I even saw some owls.
When the sun rose, it liked a white light giving off shadows in my Twilight Sight. Which I've decided to name my unique vision. Regularly, it was yellow and strong.
I noticed movement and switched back to Twilight Sight. Coming out of a farm house, I saw the alien.
It was an Elf. A male Elf. He was leaner than a human, taller, and had pointy ears. He was more good looking than a typical human like they were described in the folder. Other elves came out of a side house after him. They must be the farm hands.
I watched as they all opened the barns and my curiosity peeked.
Then I was struck with surprise and I know that my pupils dilated at the sight. Naked humans with collars walked out.
I just stared at the scene for a long time. I watched as the people came out, and were given tasks. Which was mostly cooking and eating the food they for themselves. Anything else was related to cleaning the barns and themselves.
What was off putting was the state they were in. No one was old, or even beyond what a young adult would be. Except for a few. Where they all shared a common trait. Which was a large...penis.
The thought was in the back of my head, but now it is coming to the forefront.
Regardless, all the males were muscular like a bodybuilder. All they do is eat and clean. So it has to be because of something they were given. Even the teen guys have great muscle.
Then the women were all around the same body type too. All had large breasts and butts. They were extremely filled out in the right places but not fat. Not a single woman was lacking in any area. This can not happen naturally.
I say it out loud, "Humans are being farmed like cattle..."
This is not what I was expecting in the least. I don't know what I am supposed to do. How am I supposed to respond to this situation?
One of the Elves beckoned to a woman. One that looked a bit older than others. He led her to a stone block. He said something. Then she went to her knees, put her head on the block, and even moved her hair away from her neck. Then I saw the Elf grab an axe and swing it perfectly. Her head was lobbed off.
"She didn't even resist. She just obeyed and died...", I mutter.
Then the Elf puts the body on a metal table and begins butchering it. After he is done, he starts cooking some of the cuts.
"What the fuck?", I say.
He calls other over, and they serve the cooked meat on a plate with potatoes. Then they start to eat. I look to other people and they don't even care.
I can't understand it. How could they just not do anything. No resistance, not even an emotion to be seen. Like they don't care about anything.
Is this what humanity has become? What happened to the humanity that had King Leonidas, Tesla, General Patton, George Washington, Caesar, Emperor Aurelius, King Alfred, and made the myths of great heroes.
This humanity I see has no spirit, no dreams, no thoughts. Can they even speak?
I watched the farm the entire day. I found out they had a slaughterhouse. They butchered some guy for dinner too.
I close my eyes and lean my head back to the wood of the tree I was on, "Human eating aliens. How I am supposed to live in this world. Am I the only human on Earth that still has...humanity?"
I did see the Elves do that magic that was mentioned in the folder. As some blue sparkly energy harvested the field of corn. Then a green energy uprooted, and reseeded the land. Sprouts came up after 1 minute too.
I decided that I needed to see more. So I got off the tree and flew to the large city I see in the distance.
I flew fast, but not fast enough to break the sound barrier. As I felt that I was nearing that speed. I didn't want to make an alerting noise.
Feeling sound on your body is also odd. It is like tingly air weaved into a thin film.
I got to the city halfway into the night. It was ginormous. Bigger than any human city I had learned of.
Elves were abundant.
The city was like a normal city. Except for pet humans and what was on the menu of the restaurants. The buildings were all made from stone or metal. No buildings taller then 5 stories except for a few. Which looked to be either government buildings or belonged to some powerful group.
The pet humans gave me a bit of hope. As some were clothed, and a few even spoke. Perhaps they still have a bit of spirit in them.
You can't force a horse to drink water after all. They need some spirit in them in order for humanity to actually resurge.
As I was willing to facilitate the rise of humanity. I just needed a person to start with.
I wanted to kidnap one of the human pets that could speak. Converse with one them and see what the their situation is.
I just need to fix the language barrier. As they speak the language of their owners. Luckily, my learning capabilities vastly improved along with my powers. So it only took 3 days of listening to conversations to learn the language.
I think to myself, "I haven't gotten hungry at all yet. How peculiar. I guess I don't need to eat? Perhaps I just don't need to eat often? I'll find out if I ever feel hungry."
Thankfully, my invisibility has held up. The Elves have yet to detect a whiff of me. I have practiced making other living animals invisible with me. So I should be able to make a human invisible no problem.
It'll be morning soon, and the Elf women will be out walking their pets. I just need to look for a clothed one that talks.
I say to myself, "I guess I'll start targeting the richer Elf women first. Especially ones that look divorced."
I flew around a district of the city that was just a bunch big houses. Although they were not quite mansions.
This area had rich women, but not too rich. As I observed that richer elves were typically more powerful with their magic. I didn't want to risk getting noticed. While flying over for any potential targets, I saw one human.
A man, looks to be in his 30's, wears simple clothing and can even speak. The Elf let him off the leash to go use a bush by a tree to relieve himself.
A perfect opportunity. I let the guy do his business before swooping down, grabbing him by arm and flying back up. I had successfully made him invisible, and even prevented soundwaves from escaping too far.
No one could the man scream in terror.
"Ah! Monster!!!!! Help!"
I was immedietly annoyed with his panic, "Shut up!". I yelled at him.
This worked as he went quiet fast. His eyes were still wide and quivering.
I sigh, "You can speak and think, right?"
He nods. I scowl, "Then answer with words."
"Yes, I can speak and think.", he quickly says.
"Good, then why do you accept being a pet to an Elf?", I ask.
He gives me a confused look, "I was bred to be a pet. My mistress has raised me since I was a babe. I am an North African and Northwest Asian mix with a dash of. I'm proud to be her human."
The man was whimpering and sniveling now. He was raised from the beginning to be a pet. His bloodline was probably bred for subservience and obedience too. That is what you do when you breed pets after all. You breed for the traits you like.
He is a lost cause. Although I now know more about what I am dealing with.
I fly back down and put him back at the bush. Then I fly away.
Amongst the clouds I sigh, "Humanity is all screwed up."
The only possible way I could revive the human spirit would be to secure humans from a young age and raise them myself. I would have to teach and care for them until they are grown. Then repeat over and over again until they stand up for their freedom. Of course, it would all be done away from Elves. I don't know where that would be though. The Elves are all over Earth no matter the environment.
They are in the skies, the oceans, across every variation of land.
I'm not even sure I'm powerful enough to stand against them. I have not compared my Black Matter to their magic. I haven't explored my limits or the finer details of Black Matter. Trying to revive humanity now would be rash and impatient.
"Humanity can wait some years for me to get stronger. Humans are most certainly not going to be going anywhere. I must learn more about my enemy too.", I made my decision.
