"Not those feral beasts, I mean abandoned would fit them too. They are wild or unwanted, I thought we scared them further back." Tyme thinks for a moment.
"Please, they always come back for a chance. Not like we give them one." Luke sits as he has finally shaken off the trembles.
"Well I guess, everyone is home… but that new girl and Amber!"
The panic sets that they let the outcasted beast, some barely holding human form, into their home.
Gale on the other hand had pondered how to collect the heart he wanted so longingly, he unwittingly followed the trail. The trail of her distinct smell, soon many other smells began to mix.
"I don't like the smell of this," trying to follow the smell he is lead to the empty meadow,"where is she?"
The feeling building inside was horrible, losing a loved one right before her eyes. 'No, I can't be this weak still. Goddess did you not bless me.'
Sasha was sure coming to this world was the Goddess her mother prayed to listening to her dreams, all the versions of higher beings humans believed in. She couldn't believe this fate could be so cruel, hanging her only fear before her.
"Why won't I glow now? Can't I get m-mad or something?" You could see the worry painted across her face.
The beast holding her, bewitched by the beauty of her fear, of her breaking heart. William was the one most amused, sick and sadistic, all his pleasure came from the falling heart of a proud woman.
Like the cold grip of death, William's eyes bored within her proud soul found excitement in the fresh paint.
"What a sight! Proud Female? Does your name matter now? Does your worth save you now?"
What followed was ear curtailing, his pleasured laugh as that of a haunting requiem ringing from the cracked bell made for heavens fall. You could hear his desire, pleasure, drowning in Sasha waters once calm. It was that thing when nothing else causes you to shake, falling glass, your mothers screams, your best friend struggling to breathe, struggling to outrun the darkness that covets your life; your worst fear turned sound ringing out over and over again.
"Remember…. Re… mem…." It was soft, smooth that cut through the blackened skies of acid.
Over the sick laughter came a voice, harmony embodied, piece of mind restored like waves washed away the panic.
'What is going on? Why do I feel like this?'
"My child, remember you are strong even without my blessing. Your mother's words and lessons, she blessed you long before I could.."
'What? … Was that her? No.. did she just tell me that I am all I need now..I can't give up on Amber. I need something more than I was….'
You could tell Sasha was desperate, but right before the fall to a hopeless pit, the dark abyss that no one can return.
"Don't let his words or actions stop you! Find your training and believe in everything I'm about to say. I am no goddess, but this wouldn't break me because you are my goddess's messenger. If my goddess, or your mother isn't enough now then BELIEVE IN ME RIGHT BEFORE YOUR EYES!"
Amber's eyes, you could see an unwavering belief, a fire that gave burning embers. It was the moment unlight kindling was turned into a blinding fire, they met eyes and Sasha was reanimated right before everyone. It was the rebirth of a mortal to a battle ready goddess.
She was quiet as she remembered her time spent training for survival, to fight to be the pride of her missing bloodline. It was then, all those distractions began to fade and she flexed with everything she had.
"Hold me tight or I may slip away.." Just like that, Sasha brought her leg back into the men holding her in place. With her focused force, the hold on her arms weakened. They were forced back, wearing their thoughts on their face. Worst look of all, was the gaze, no the intense glare of William.
"Can't you just give up? I always get what I want, so quit making this hard for me. OK!" Squeezing Ambers face in his hands, his tail close to her hearts cage.
Time stopped in this moment, you could see it was something from myth. The devil or that darkness William, vessel of all mortal sins in immortal form. The other side? The hero? Or a goddess? No! A human with something to fight for being born again. She prayer met by not the gods but by her past self looking for everything she hurt for to be put to use and a friend that needed her.
"You can't!" Quick as light and force of nature, it was almost like she was the same lightning bolts found in a storm. Her hands chilled by the tough tail, gleaming in it's pain.
Amber fell as all change was sudden like the beating in her chest. William was face to face with a force he brought out. The crowd still recovering for the burst they faced.
It was a moment not one could have every seen coming, feral men on their knees and backs. A four marked beast with a single star glowing, staring down a female with heart and courage. It was tells of legend, tucked away by centuries of pampered woman. Sasha hand forcing back his tail, it began to press and press the cold human steel.
"They call us feral, but you are the definition of BEASTLY!" William swung his claws, his hands hardened and the target was vital. She didn't move, how could she? She forcing his tail back, it's target still Amber. With elegance and power, with force and love, she replacing foot with hand, elongates leg whip like in nature against his joints. The hinge of his claws beginning to fail him…
It was a clash of gods.. no a clash of beastly sin and desire versus a pure souls love and blessings. It was two forces of nature, so the clash left waves felt into the world unknown. Many that night heard the clash and legends would be made about that night.
Gale was hit hardest, he was almost thrown from his base.
"She was here! Give her to me! I am without fear for the last of my sanity."
A green, toxic given form did as he could to destroy the barrier….
"I have found a legend, so let me give nothing less than all my faith!"
