The Ocean Tide

"Rest here if you would like. I suppose I could travel near the water so we can meet once we can." It was the reason, the purpose of not letting his believe become her pain.

"Really? You'll just leave me here? Why help only to leave?"

"Why would you judge me as if you know me?"

It was the eyes of two both sure, til ones dropped and fell into question. It shook like waves at the liquified brick, so solid til the question touches him well.

"Well I suppose if you believe you can carry me to the water, then we can start traveling tonight."

It was wonderful, he a man of the sea, was like the tide.

"That would be wonderful."

It was strange in the sudden change of the wind, the group of bitter abandonment, broken hearted could feel the loss in the air. It was a moment of many feelings, no blood, no screams and like a ghost the girl they all yearned for seemed to be thrown from existence.

"No she's mine! Who did this? I won't accept this." Envy and rage coursed like poison in the face of greedy scales.

"I wanted just once to see her really fall apart. Why did she have to leave like that? It was like she was pulled from here." Hollow and yet you could hear the venomous yearning, like a desperate possession.

"What do you mean? Don't tell me that she's gone. No…. Come on, maybe maybe she dove into the water." Trembling and shaking, wishing the water would carry her wish.

It was a whole new world, it was opposed to dry land. You could see the teeming of life and swirling of colors, even in the dead of night. It was the view from a bubble preserved inside the dryness of land. Sarah once again in shock and awe of the beauty, without words expresses purity in many forms.

"So beautiful~"

"You are beautiful…. Oh, what is your name?"

It was the awkward moment, purity twisted to suspense, gentleness melting into confusion. "Well what is yours? Mine is for the ones I trust."

It went back to silence, the mood heavier and darken. They descend til the motions runs side by side the vibrationless emptiness.

"Sireno, my name is Sireno. So once you trust me, I can't wait to hear your name."

"Sireno…. Sireno Leon."

It was the echo of that last word, rolling and flirting then floating from plump, soft and warm places that cut through the dry with liquid satisfaction.

"Sireno Leon?… Why Leon? Giving me a last name?"

It was the increase trembling in the cords that sang, pulling at the steadiness of each note. Fire swallowed by his tongue, boiling the water catch between his body.

"Well I wasn't sure if you hadn't had one or wanted me to guess."

The ocean, once alive, now dead like the conversation drowned in awkwardness. It was the sadness of missing the sounds, life and longing….

"In a sea of stars, In the ever expanding universe…

reach, stretch pass time and space for my heart…

See me as I am, not who I am, what I am…

Love me for the heart, fall into the melody,

Hold me with not regard to the body, beauty and flaws,

Hear me, reach into you and hear the echoes across the stars,

Hear what makes me, not what confines…"

It was the words, the song from the heart of one that could never be the same as everyone else but longed to be more than just what the eye could see. It was the trembling in Sasha's brow and lips, you could see the understanding stretching across a space so indefinite and yet so sure it knew where to go. It was just then, on Earth, Mei awake so abrupt that her dreams leaked into reality.

"… Come find me.

… And let us love with eternity.

… And in kind find respect for the soul.

Love me for my hands, fall into the motion

Find closeness even in great distance, love in kind,

Feel me, ring out to me and hold our couplets in stars,

…the person I could be."

It was a song that is held in couplets for two, a response and call that they made with heart. The heart was what will always carry the love those words convey, the power blessing them empower their hearts and voices.

'Why does the song seem like it's missing a part?'

Sireno, the one that could not hear the ringing of fate and longing, but his heart ranging in the way the bubble shook with love. It was wanting and peace, content and missing out. Sireno wanted to know more, grow to understand what he did hear and wasn't perceiving.

They weighted along a current, the difference in speed allowed for a form of separation from the outside world. For the first time in a while Sarah found that she hadn't lost all her hope for this place. It was also then she really looked at Sireno, the way his tail looked, the number of spines…

"Hey, this may be an odd question, but are you a lion fish?"

"A Lion Fish? Is that the fish you think I look like? Well I guess you could say I am one to some degree."

It was the way she asked that question with no hesitation, using a name he had only heard once. The first time hearing this came at the exclamations made at his birth. As he came from his egg, it was the mix of shock and fear as he was adorned spikes of white and pink.

"Well I think it's far too pretty, from your color to your spines, for you to be so unsure of yourself."

'It was the way her words echoed in my ears…'

It was the way water interchanged with land, wild winds replaced with dangerous rapids. Once the bubble stopped, it was only then when Sasha realized where she had been taken.
