"Sasha! Please don't! I want to go back! Won't they protect us just for this once?" Amber begged and pleaded for them to stop the breakneck speed.
"You want to go with them? You… fine go and remember you wanted this."
Sasha stops and rest Amber on the ground and bounded off into the night to never be seen. The guys approached only to a feelings drowned Amber before them.
"Sasha!"
The four men and a miserable woman began an impossible task of finding a wild gal. You could feel the heart strings pulled so tight that even one hair in either direction would crush the very being held it in these moments.
"Where is she!?" Like the piercing ring that brought them to this pain, rang again and again.
"Shut up.. hissss," it was low but slick and startling.
"I.. I just miss my f-friend, Sasha is strong but doesn't it seem strange that she would just leave me like this? Are we fighting because I did something she misunderstood?" It was the same voice that had conviction, that stirred a goddess from rest, but now was weak and missing purpose.
"What does it matter? I'm sure when she ends up in a situation she can't handle, she'll be begging for someone to help her. Now whether we are the ones to help her or not, can only be told in time." You could hear the distance of someone that could leave the ground at any time, it was both the indifference and blame of ignorance in his tone.
"Cruel.. why did I tell Sasha to pick you? No wonder she left me and didn't stay with me. I should have seen it like this before."
Another bird fell from the heavens, it didn't fall to the ground but it's no longer trapped in the clouds. It was the belting out of which released the bird from an unknown prison. Warn thee father and thy mother, the apostle missing and did not even pray to the goddess like they should.
"Not ssso smart to sssay that aloud when you have no one else to care for you?" Cold and reflective in the nightly forest.
The fire just as quick as they flashed alive, did it quiver to an ember. Falling sap dripping til they cool to amber.
"I know I shouldn't have left her, but she left me first."
It was cruel, for a long time Sasha was alone but what does it matter? I mean have you thought what would happen when you found a companion only to lose them to grandness you wish would leave you be.
It was just then, the crying of one dying. It was a beast but male or female? Sasha could feel her heart aching, it was the grace of care in her heart. Not her rage, not the Goddess's wrath or desire.
"Are you ok? Could I help you?" It was sweetness, she never had the pride quiet enough to express care for the unknown.
In the moonlight, it was the sparkling and shimmering leaking crimson onto the blackened ground. Moistness only from the vital liquid that beats from the heart.
"Who ar..?! ….. Beautiful." It was the raise in guard til the world fell away and only the eyes reflecting yours existed.
"Are you ok? Would you like me to help you? How should I help you?" Wonder and warming bless, 'Where are that herb? He must be a merman, so I should find it near the water's edge.'
His eyes glued like trackers of many kinds, upon the bounding curls swaying from curiosity. The glancing emeralds, searching the darkness in its brilliance. Then it was the splashing of the icy blue, crystal and clear, broken over the ebony flesh weighting over the edging shores.
Liquid drips, patting like the feet over dirty, "What happened to you? Would taking you back to water help you?"
"Thank you Miss,… are you alone? Should I stay with you?" Ringing met a wall carved of stone and satin.
Soft and smooth, gentle and kind. Apply the aid come of the land, then ripples in the water caused rough touch and a pained jerk.
"I'm sorry… just why would you ask to stay with me? Think I can't handle myself?" It was a much softer response, without Amber where would one get fire?
"No.. I just think you care too much to be alone. Why are you here? I must be blessed if I'm so lucky." Rising from his pool, watching responses like water fall behind her eyes.
"Well I just wanted to get out more, see what this world had to offer me."
She looked longingly, she missed it all but knew she could never be happy like she was again.
"Well if you want to see what this world has for you, why don't we travel a while? I could show you the ocean floors if you liked." It was surprising and shocking to think of the ocean floor, to traverse the waters in kind.
"I would like that. Just don't try anything, I saved you but I am known for my skills in battle not loving." Happiness brimmed over the tips of mountains capped with sadness.
"Yes, I understand. I'll take care not to cross your rules." His smile was like gleaming pearls bounding from a bloody mouth.
Sarah smiles at him and goes ahead to carry him back to the water, when a webbed hand applies even the smallest amount of pressure. Sarah rises to meet his eyes again and higher sat the eyebrow.
"I may be a fish, but I am not light. I will more once I am more healed so I don't hurt either of us." It was the flashing of the world behind his words, his eyes the worry of the weakness one couldn't have found in her future.
"Rest here if you would like. I suppose I could travel near the water so we can meet once we can." It was the reason, the purpose of not letting his believe become her pain.
"Really? You'll just leave me here? Why help only to leave?"
"Why would you judge me as if you know me?"
It was the eyes of two both sure, til ones dropped and fell into question. It shook like waves at the liquified brick, so solid til the question touches him well.
"Well I suppose if you believe you can carry me to the water, then we can start traveling tonight."
It was wonderful, he a man of the sea, was like the tided.
"That would be wonderful."
