Nathan immediately looked at Rendra savagely, and then he closed his book roughly.

"No," Nathan replied curtly and coldly. Then, he reached into something in his backpack. Please take out a brown envelope and place it on the table. "Ten million. I lost to you," he continued.

All the children who were there screamed in surprise, how could they not. A Nathan Alfaro can so readily admit defeat. A guy who usually will always manage to get whatever he wants. He couldn't admit defeat so readily. It's not like a Nathan Alfaro.

"Nath, it's really you, right?" asked Benny in a surprised tone.

"Damn it. I feel like a loser now," added Rendra.

"What are you doing, Nath? You are a red pillar in our high school. You are our king. Why are you suddenly acting like this? Lost? Since when did you lose to your rival, Nath?" now Gisel spoke, her face red as if who confirmed that she was angry right now. "I'm disappointed in you, Nath."

Hearing this, Dinda glanced at Nathan. She really couldn't do anything now. She couldn't act like Nathan would protect the boy like she did yesterday.

Dinda immediately stood up, and she had no idea what she was going to do was right. She quickly grabbed Nathan's hand until the children in the class looked at her. Invite Nathan to go out of style and take her to the garden behind her classroom building.

"Sorry, Nath. I actually burdened you because of this problem," said Dinda after Nathan sat on one of the benches in the park. Dinda was still standing, reluctant to sit down to join Nathan. "Because of me, you are even hostile to your friends."

"It's okay, Din. Then they will come back as usual," Nathan answered. He smiled as if he confirmed that what had happened earlier was not a big problem for him, unlike Dinda, who always takes anything seriously.

"Why aren't you honest with them, Nath?" asked Dinda again.

"For what? Embarrassing you in front of everyone?"

Dinda was silent, hearing those words from Nathan. She didn't think at all that what Nathan had said was completely different from what she had felt about Nathan so far.

"It's not for me to embarrass a girl in front of a lot of people, Din. Just so you know. I'm a jerk but I have a conscience."

Dinda was silent for a moment, and then she looked at Nathan, who had his back to her. Dinda walked over, sat beside Nathan, and looked at the brown-haired boy.

"I really don't understand you, Nath. You're weird."

"As long as it's not like you. You're a midget, your brain is shallow again," Nathan said. "Treat me because I'm hungry now I've saved your pride which is as high as a flagpole."

"Huh?" said Dinda. "After school, I will treat you to eat cilok* in front," she added.

Nathan chuckled. "I'm hungry now, you invite me later. I'll die soon."

"There's still class, Nath. It's a test."

"How about we skip class. Do you dare?" challenged Nathan, who managed to make Dinda glare.

However, according to Nathan's children, she was one of the most diligent students. It's rarely called skipping school or even coming home in the middle of class if it's not in an emergency. But now?

"Come on, Din, don't you dare skip out."

"So how's the replay?"

"you can do it tomorrow. I'll take care of it. How about it?" offered Nathan stubbornly. He opened his palm as if hoping that Dinda would hold his hand.

"Okay," replied Dinda. She smiled and took Nathan's hand. Nathan's smile widened, then she immediately got up to pull Dinda away from there. "But our bags are in class. My money is in the bag."

"I've taken care of the flight, I'm already hungry. I have a side street that we can safely enter and exit our classrooms."

Nathan immediately took Dinda to the side of the gym. Some bushes are pretty dense. After they were close, Nathan parted the bushes. A small hallway closed by a wooden door that looks real. It's like a secret passage hidden in a movie.

"Usually when I'm late or when I'm not in the mood for school. I come in this way," Nathan explained.

Dinda also smiled. However, she didn't deny it if his heart was racing because of something like this. This is the first time she has skipped school, especially during the test.

What if the picket teacher caught her? Or, what will his fate be if she finds out she is truant? Ah, but Dinda doesn't want to care. What Dinda wants now is, she wants to feel completely free!

"Wow! I feel like I stepped into another world!" shouted Dinda excitedly. She snorted with joy, with a smile growing from the corners of her lips.

Meanwhile, Nathan looked at Dinda in silence. He only knew now if there was a girl who could be this happy just skipping school. Nathan couldn't imagine at all what kind of mental pressure Dinda was feeling. To do trivial things like this as if he was already free.

"So where's breakfast?" asked Nathan.

Dinda immediately turned around, and she remembered that Nathan had asked for a treat. "I already told you, my money is in the bag."

"I'll borrow it first, I'm hungry. Ok!" invite him.

They were holding Dinda's hand to get out of there immediately. Dinda looked at the hand Nathan had been holding. She was confused about how she and Nathan now liked to hold each other's hands. Since when did they get this close? Only yesterday did they become friends.

"What's wrong with you?" asked Nathan. Who realized that Dinda had stopped her steps. Realizing that Dinda was watching Dinda's grip on her hand, Nathan slowly released it. "Sorry, too much," Nathan explained. He was scratching the nape of the neck that suddenly felt itchy.

"Din, are you here?"

Dinda and Nathan immediately turned their heads when they heard the familiar voice. Panji was already standing not far from them, with a face full of hope.

Dinda's breath hitched again, and she even spontaneously took a step back. However, before Dinda fell, Nathan's hand gripped his shoulder as if to strengthen.

"This is an opportunity for you, Din. Do whatever you want to do to vent your emotions on a naughty boy like him. Remember, he's not as handsome as me, he's not as rich as me. and that furry boy. Don't destroy my self-esteem, Din," Nathan whispered.

After receiving Nathan's long words, Dinda was utterly unfocused. But she was pretty surprised when Panji's big hand tapped her shoulder. Like an electric shock that flows through her body at regular intervals.

"Dinn."
