In the afternoon, Choi Na Bi headed to one of the tea rooms that Elizabeth Villin had asked her to meet at. This tea room was part of the palace and was situated in a greenhouse.
The queen, Charla Spinster, had built this when she had entered the palace as the new wife of then crown prince for the newly wed couple to enjoy some alone time. The greenhouse had all sorts of exquisite plants and flowers – things the king had gotten her as gifts. This was supposed to be a tribute to their love.
However, once Charla had understood what a lecher she had married, she had opened this tea room for anyone who had wanted to enjoy some solitude. The queen used to host her very close friends here. Afterwards, she completely gave up on this space as it used to remind her of the happy times with her husband.
Every time she visited here, she felt heartbroken and devastated seeing all those thriving plants but not her love. She had stopped using this space altogether.
