As Damon and his pack continued to wait for their approaching enemies and the Cullens, they had changed how they were currently standing.

Of course, Damon stood in front of everyone even though he had no intention of making a move, behind him his pack stood around Rosalie keeping her protected in case of any attacks.

It wasn't long after that there was movement coming from the house, as they stood waiting for the Cullens to appear before them.

" It seems you're in a bad way Carlisle, I wonder who could have tipped off the Volturi?" says Damon as the Cullens arrive before him.

Carlisle on the other hand, upon hearing Damon's question couldn't help but sigh.

"Damon, now isn't the time for this, I came to ask for your help this time." says Carlisle.

" I know, and I won't chase you away but I won't protect you either if you live or die is completely based on your actions." says Damon.

" Thank you." Carlisle said.

'Honestly that was more than I was expecting him to do, and it was far easier than I thought I would be, no convincing nothing.' thinks Carlisle as he takes the other over to Damon's side.

And as soon as they moved there was another set of movement in the house, but this thing it was clear it was far more people than before and they weren't being careful If the sound broken things were anything to go by.

WHOOSH!!

Figures sped about in the house before finally.

BANG!!

CRASH!!

One after the other vampires broke through the glass running onto the backyard, and unlike the Cullens, there was no greeting or anything they just attacked rushing up to Damon's group.

But even though they looked fast, they really weren't to Damon and most of his pack, without needing to receive any kind of order Kane and Ocean rushed forward.

The speed at which they moved made the newborns look very slow to any who could actually track them with their eyes.

THUD!!!

The sound of four things dropping caught the attention of all the newborn vampires that had reached the backyard, and the others that were making their way out of the house.

Then without anyone noticing Kane and Ocean were already back at Damon's side, heads in each of their hands, and a huge smile on each of their faces.

Currently, there were forty newborn vampires in the backyard of Damon's house including the ones who hadn't made it completely out of the house, but they had stopped.

They all were looking at one place, four bodies were on the floor without heads, these newborns were dead, completely dead.

With their senses and emotions heightened from the recent turn, the noise had managed to attract their attention, while the fact they could be killed this easily shocked them.

Fear, appeared in the minds of the newborns, four of them were killed so easily without being able to do anything.

' This wasn't what they told us!!!' this sentence echoed in the minds of all the newborns.

And then the thought of running away appeared, and slowly it overpowered the fear they had for Alec's ability.

Soon some of the newborns even started backing up with the intention of escaping.

" It seems they want to run." says Alec as he watches the scene below unfold.

"Yes, they have forgotten the pain that can be inflicted upon them at any time." responds Aro

" It's time for a reminder."

As he said that immediately after all that a group of heart-wrenching screams sounded from below.

AHHHHHHHHH!!!

Looking at the screaming newborns Damon already knew what was happening.

" What's going on we haven't even begun to attack yet their already screaming in pain?" asked Kane.

" It an ability of one of the Volturi members, it's probably can cause pain on a large scale." says Damon.

"He's right, it's one of the Volturi's main weapons Alec." Carlisle says stepping forward with an input.

" So it seems, that they are close by." said Damon as he watch the window on the top floor of his house.

' That should be them, staying back watching how things unfold, both of them should be real members of the Volturi.' thinks Damon.

" It seems the real targets aren't ready to appear yet." said Damon.

" It seems so, I wonder which of them has the power you mentioned." says Kane.

" It doesn't matter much does it, vampires abilities rarely work on werewolves, and when they do it takes a considerable amount of effort to get the same effect as if it was used on another vampire." says Damon

As Damon and his group Conversation when on the screams stopped and the newborns were able to catch their breath.

And they were also able to understand the meaning of that sudden pain as they stared at Damon and his pack with resolve.

" I guess you're right, this will be a lot less fun than I thought it would be." says Ocean.

"Well you gave yourself those expectations, so it's best you go enjoy yourself." says Damon

Hearing this the members of Damon's pack that wanted to fight sped off, as bloodlust filled the air.

Kane, Ocean, Joey, Crystal, and Max all rushed out, while Alice, Jasper, Bella, Damon, Rosalie, and the Cullens stayed back and watched the show.

No one from Damon's pack was worried as they rushed into the forty-odd newborns.

" Let's bet on who kills the most, the winner can order the others to do one thing each." says max.

" I'm in." the others agreed immediately as the killing was about to begin.

Damon on the side moved back to Rosalie's side, as he continued to watch as the two parties were about to reach each other.

" It seems the whole party will be here soon, Finally things can be cleaned up before the birth of the little princess." says Damon as he smells another group of vampires approaching recognizing one scent in particular.
