Chapter 12: They Who are Lost in Dreams
I’ve been losing control of things I thought I had control over.
Leila reached out in her dream trying to command the clouds to gather around her palm, yet the clouds of her dreams remained still. She furrowed her brows, trying to command them once again.
Why?
“Hey,” Caden greeted. Leila remained concentrated, her hands still outstretched towards the pink sky. She was stuck in her own world. He frowned. Today was a bit trippier than other days. Caden observed the sky and found an array of things floating in the clouds, swimming as if it were the ocean. There were cats, ostriches, and the occasional giant squid. Caden furrowed his brows together, wondering what all of this could possibly imply about Leila.
