Chapter 33: His name is Solron Windweaver
Laela and Orion closed the door that crept open and looked at each other. They nodded and wordlessly left the house, walking through the neighborhood. They had been there for a while, leaving the two humans to communicate with each other. Orion trailed his gaze at his wife.
“You okay? If you’re here it means you connected with Leila again,” Orion mentioned. Laela nodded.
“She likely found companionship in Caden Mistral,” Laela replied. Orion looked at his wife wearily. She examined the front of the house carefully, examining the concrete street that immediately greeted the front door. She stayed silent as Orion sighed. “Leila grabbed a plush wrapped in red and she regained her memories briefly because of it.”
“Those would be like the Procession’s mementos. Like the one Leila and Caden opened and it sent out a signal.” Orion explained. “I didn’t know it could do that to the owner.”
