Forty-Six

Crona threw Ash to the ground unceremoniously. He had transported them to a cavern big enough to house a dragon. Ash gritted her teeth and stood up to look for an exit and saw none. She frowned at Crona her pickaxe raised.

“What are we doing here?” she asked.

“I figured a more private arena would be suitable so that you wouldn’t embarrass yourself in front of your friends.” Crona said.

Eyes narrowing, and without hesitation she flew at Crona hammer at the ready, but just a flick of his hand sent her flying back to a wall. She fell to the ground with a groan.

Crona then used his powers to send her body back up and made her slam into the wall repeatedly. She landed on the ground with a few bounces. Electric shocks flowed through her bones. She scanned the room for her dropped weapon, spotting it she tried to crawl to it with a groan. She froze in her tracks unable to move. Crona moved to stand in front of her.
