Lucinda stood in front of Clara’s cell which now housed both Nova sisters. Clancy was sitting on the ground knees to her chest, while Clara stared at her with worry.

Clara looked up at her. “So, it’s finally over.”

“Not quite, but I’m sure you’re aware of what has to happen.” Lucinda said.

“Yes.” Clara said she turned to Clancy. “Are you sure you want to Clan?” she asked.

Clancy looked up. “I am.”

Lucinda looked back and forth between them. “We’ll leave for the Union Headquarters at the end of the week. That is where your fates will be decided.”

“We know, and we’ll accept whatever punishment you give us.” Clara said.

Clancy stayed quiet the enchanted shackles glistening on her wrists. Lucinda looked from the two sisters and sighed. She didn’t know how to feel about throwing her nieces in prison.

“Be prepared for the worst.” She told them before turning and walking out of the dungeon.
