Why the answer?
"Allan what have you get yourself into??"
I know that something is obviously fishy from the start of all the things that's been happening since yesterday. Maybe this contract is the clue for finding out the answers to this things, I wonder.
The first contract is from Allan. It's written there that he is the contractor and it's indicated there that the contract is for inheritance for me.
Is he some kind of extremely rich man who wants to live a normal life secretly and many people like his relative wanted to kill him to get his money and I've been caught up to this situation?
No, it doesn't explain the thing about time traveling, but then, what kind of thing Allan wants by giving me his Inheritance?
Maybe I'm just overthinking things...
He must have some purpose for me and that's the reason I have this. I remember him saying that this is my second chance, I think by using this, I will be able to answer all my questions.
What will happen if I sign it?
Allan's already done this thing, it means someone also had given him something as an inheritance when he signed the contract.
The contract agreement details, conditions are mostly censored. Allan signed the contract with his finger print as his signature, it doesn't look like he use a normal ink to sign it either because, though, the color is black, it also has a faint transparent red color to it.
"This... Is this blood?" With my left over knowledge in forensic Analysis when I'm still studying to become a detective like my father, I can definitely say that this is a blood used as an ink for signing the contract.
"That's right" I said, I remember the needle, maybe it's the one that he uses to make a blood finger print. I took the needle and observe it.
The needle is pretty long, about three inches in diameter, it has a head design like the mark I said earlier, it looks a normal needle overall except for the mark.
I looked at the contract where my name's written as Inheritor. I know that Allan has the reason in all of these, giving me a second chance and saving my life, I must at least do something like this for his sake, I also wants to know what are the reason behind this.
I brace my self "Don't hesitate Arthur" I said, I need to do this for my friend, Allan, who give his life to save me and give me a second chance in life, even though the conditions are not clear in contract.
Allan trusted me with this, I need to fulfill my part, what if it happens that I didn't sign this, will I be sent back to that time?
I take the contract and the needle and head to my little study table at the left side of my bed. I took a pen underneath drawer of my table where I put my studying materials from my kindergarten school.
I started signing the contract with my name, but when I'm about to put my age I stopped. I need to indicate my age but I'm already twenty eight at my mental age though, but my body is only five years old now, I'm having a dilemma...
Well, f*ck this. I'm five, whatever, I will just write it then sign this contract with my blood. I take the needle, I hesitate at first because I don't want to see blood, I'm most of the time vomit or just simply faint just by seeing it.
Yes, I'm scared of blood and gore in real life, it makes me sick but that doesn't apply to movies that I watch and games that I played or other things as long as I know that it's not real. I'd never get used to it in real life. Another reason why I didn't get to be a detective.
I've muster the courage to prick my thumb with the needle, with a shaky hand, I slowly penetrated the needle to my skin, the blood started to flow after it. I'm trembling seeing my blood on my thumb, I gulp while I'm trembling. God, I'm a f*cking pussy. I let the blood flow for a few second to accumulate more blood to make my finger print more visible in paper before stamping it to the contract. The sign is perfect, good job me.
And with that I completed the contract. But one thing that slipped out of my mind is who should I give this contract in order to be validated, I didn't know Allan's relative and I'm only just a five years old brat now. On top of this, no one will believe this kind of sketchy contract.
What's the meaning of all this then? The answers to my questions and Allan's sacrifice is it all in vain, all of this doesn't make a single sense. Did I get Bamboozled for real now.
"What the hell" I said while sitting on my chair, I look at the useless contract in my table "really?" I said, I lean on my chair and take the contract "I've never really understand you?" I'm pondering, the first thing is the contract and the documents, the second is the abandoned factory, third is the one who's chasing me and Allan that wants us dead but never appear as we immediately reach the exit, fourth is the police who wants to get the documents to Allan and lastly, Allan died and me time traveling 21 years back in time. "Ahh... What a mess" I feel so unmotivated my brain cells are dying with this thinking, I decided to just lay down to my bed.
Sigh...
Maybe I will just spend this second chance doing what I can to become successful in something, and also I can still prevent dad's death. I feel suddenly motivated by this thoughts. But still being a detective will always be just a dream for me.
I closed my and I'm slowly falling to a sleep..

I opened my eyes, I almost feel like dreaming again because I see a floating text in the air in front of me. It looks like a floating window of a game where there's a notice to view.

I haven't even touch the thing why the hell it automatically select. This thing must be really broken.

The heck! I've been waiting for 2 hours and it's calculating and shit... Is it not good in math or something or what is even a "suitable [System]"? Wait, what is even the [System] itself in the first place?
I looked at the documents where the contract came from. I remember reading it and it mentioned the System.
I took the documents and read it while waiting for the "calculation and analysis" to complete. The window has minimize logo on the upper right of the so I can minimize it, nice design to this thing, it's easy to use.
The documentation is full of text something about the System. I read the first page, it tells the history of the System, but the date is kinda' odd, it said that the first know user appear in the year 2030 and so the start of the emergence of users who uses the [System], but it's only 2028 from when I came from, does that mean this document is from the future two years later if I didn't go back in time?
I continue reading the documents until the last page and at first I didn't believe it, but eventually I think this is all that's happening right now. The whole story about the [System] and people who uses it to get some kind of super powers known as "users".
The organization that control the operations information and research for the "users" it said, it is called "Federal Parliament" and is the one that wrote this documents, the symbols in the folder with the mark "Ω" in the middle is their logo.
It didn't say anything about what happened in that time, it only explain what they know about the [System] and what the organizations purpose. It says that the [System] is an unknown manifestation, phenomenon or entity brought by some mysterious beings of unknown origin. It makes sense cause humans can't do shit like this.
This means, this is where Allan's time traveling and time stopping power came from. Then if he has this power, he might still be alive...
But I saw him died right in front of me.
The documents said that there will be only one unique [System] for every user and will never be another like it.

My eyes widened at the site I'm seeing, the floating window appears, the text in it almost gives a heart attack out of excitement. The System has granted me the most best [System] that I will ever wish for, the "Legendary Detective [System]"! And I also have the additional Chrono [System].
I feel the heat of the moment, the blood surging and my adrenaline rushing... I feel so alive!
"Heck yeah– Ahhh!!!" I jump out of my bed to my excitement and I didn't realize a lego blocks is still on the floor and I fall to it. My excitement turns to grief and pain.
While crying because of my idiocy I looked at the floating window again...
So Allan had the chrono [System] that's why he can control the time just like he did back then. But this power is so OP* why did he need to kill himself if he had this kind of god like ability or did he really kill himself.
the documents said that there will be only a unique kind of system to every user and there will be no duplicate of it, if so, if the [System] said that I can have the same chrono [System] as Allan's then that does mean it's a duplicate?

Even though I didn't pass at being a proper detective, I still have a skill for deductive reasoning. If my deduction is correct, the only possible explanation of why Allan killed himself back then, because the System can't have a duplicate to other users, he had to kill himself in order for me to have it so that it will be unique to me, now it all make sense. This means Allan had planning to kill himself in order to give his system to me from the start.
