Lucifer Is Back, You Know What To Do
As Zoe entered the special room, Ray followed as well. Upon giving a quick glance, he realised that there were only a few furnitures including sofa and a table.
Zoe pointed in a certain direction while saying. "That is your new gaming cabin. It is even custom painted in your favourite colours."
Ray looked towards the centre of the room, where Zoe pointed and found a huge black capsule-like machine. It was the gaming cabin that alone is worth more than one million credits.
(AN: Credits are the currency of this world. A person having 1 million credits could be considered somewhat rich. But those that are really rich have atleast tens of millions of credits in bank account as cash. Not assets.)
In order to play the game, one must atleast have a normal gaming helmet. The normal version costs 10,000 credits. Also, there is an advanced version that costs 50,000 credits.
After the gaming helmet comes the gaming cabin which costs almost 100 times more than a normal gaming helmet. But even then, the rich could easily buy about more than a dozen.
"Let me show you some of the important functions of the gaming cabin." Zoe took Ray towards the gaming cabin which was in his favourite colour black. It also had some white strips to make it appear cooler.
After that she started explaining some of the functions of the gaming cabin to Ray. Such as nutrient fluids and how to refill them, how to check the safety limit and many more.
After explaining for about half an hour, Zoe pressed a button and the roof of the gaming cabin opened up. Zoe looked towards Ray and said. "Get in."
Ray got inside the gaming cabin and as he settled down, the roof closed. A feminine voice resounded in his mind.
[Started Retina Scan. Please keep your eyes open.]
[Scan completed.]
[Welcome to the Eternal World.]
As the voice faded away, Ray revealed a sinister smile.
"Hehe, Lucifer is back."

Meanwhile, Zoe and the maid Annie were walking in the hallway towards Zoe's room. At this moment, Annie spoke up as if she understood something. "Now I understand why no one was able to conquer your heart, Miss Zoe. There's no match for him. Neither in the real world nor in the Eternal World."
Zoe replied back with a smirk. "I guess so." She then continued as she took a glance at Annie's face. "But what was wrong with the gaze with which you were looking towards my Little Ray."
Annie's face got flushed red as soon as she heard what Zoe said. But she still replied with some embarrassment."Well, I guess he is the most handsome man I have ever seen in my entire life. He is the nemesis of all women."
Zoe said with a somewhat proud tone."Oh really."
Annie immediately tried to change the topic."By the way, I got informed that some college students came into conflict with Ray when he was having lunch in the neighboring city. But the girls from that same group protected him. Maybe they fell in love with him because of his looks."
She continued further with some hesitation."As for the others, maybe they…"
"They were just jealous of him." Zoe cut her off immediately. She was sure of her reasoning as it wasn't the first time nor will it be the last time.
Annie nodded her head. She too felt this was the case. She then asked."Then what should I do about them?"
A cold glint flashed across Zoe's eyes when she heard this. She replied coldly."You know… what to do."
Annie nodded her head and in the next moment she disappeared from the hallway. But Zoe continued walking and acted as if nothing happened. A moment later, she reached her room.
After calming herself down, she walking in and hopped into the gaming cabin.
Ray, who just entered the VR game was unaware of what was happening.

After opening his eyes, Ray found himself in a white room. As he felt his senses getting back to normal, he heard the same feminine voice in his ears and a semi transparent screen popped up.
[Do you want to change your current avatar?]
"Yes!"
Ray replied immediately. Of course, no one who is not a fool would use their real appearance.
Immediately, a new display screen appeared showing his current appearance. There were many options beside his miniature body. He could almost change any part of his body and however he wants.
But there are a few rules that were implemented which although many didn't like but felt that they would save themselves from getting into trouble.
First, one cannot change their gender. Almost ninety nine percent of the people were glad that this rule was implemented. Well, no one wants to date a cute girl only to find out that he was a fat nerd in real life.
Second, one cannot change their appearance by a huge degree. This was also accepted by many but some who weren't handsome or beautiful didn't like it. But what could they do?
These two were the only main rules which was a general knowledge. Although not everyone accepted it, majority of the population found it convenient.
Lucifer obviously wasn't bothered by any of the rule as he was already satisfied with his appearance but still he did some changes so that no one could recognize him in the real life.
He changed his black hair to snow white and blue eyes to scarlet. After this two major changes, he did some minute customizations. It literary took him about twenty minutes before he was done. After he was satisfied he clicked the confirmation button and la and behold.
A starlight flashed over his body as he appearance started to change. After just a single second, he was now in his new avatar.
Even though he has changed his appearance, it wasn't able to lower his handsomeness.
It his previous appearance was irresistible and could make any women commit a heinous crime then this new appearance could make any women submit to him.
Looking at his new appearance in the mirror that suddenly popped up, Ray couldn't help but sigh."I guess I won't be able to stay low-key for long."
As he was 'admiring' his new appearance, another display screen popped.
