Making Moves

(2 days later)

It's good to be back again." August began throwing quick jabs, feeling the wind swoosh around him. After a week covered in bandages while recovering, he was finally back in tip top shape.

It was something that always baffled August, how even those with normal bodies were able to heal so fast. Food seemed to have some sort of healing properties, while sleep allowed the body to heal at an accelerated rate.

With August's superhuman constitution which slightly increased his healing factor, August could heal injuries which would normally take months in a matter of weeks.

Robin stood off to the side, slightly blushing at the sight of her savior's body. Despite being a 16 year old, his body wasn't lacking in any way.

Spending 16 years on the run, she met and observed people with bodies of all shapes and sizes, but August's by far looked the strongest…and the most attractive.

She shook her head, composing herself slightly as the red tinge faded from her cheeks.

"Are we leaving soon?" She asked. Although the threat of Crocodile was gone, many more would follow, and the Marines were still on the Island looking for her.

August nodded his head, "Soon. But first I have a few things to do."

"A few things? The longer we stay here the higher chance an enemy has finding u–"

August held a hand up to her lips, "I understand your worries, but if any enemies come here then I will beat them just as I did to Crocodile." August said seriously.

"You're safe with me. There is no need to run anymore." With those words, August left and Robin shortly followed behind him.

In their disguises they made their way through the city until they arrived at their destination….Rain dinners.

"So…Why are we here?"

"To seize all of Crocodile's assets of course." August replied in an obvious manner. Robin nodded her head, but she still had her doubts.

"And how are we going to get past all the guards?"

August laughed, "Who said anything about guards?"

At Robin's confused look, he elaborated.

"A smart cookie such as yourself surely figured out what my devil fruit powers are right? So instead of going through the Casino and risk being caught, we will use your devil fruit to find a rough estimate of where Crocodile's base is. After that, I will use my powers to dig through the floor and into Crocodile's base, remaining undetected."

Robin nodded, agreeing with the plan. Walking to the edge of the Casino in disguise, she crossed her arms and activated her powers.

After Robin found a rough position on where the late Crocodile's base was located, August began digging, something he never believed he would use the Shatter fruit for.

After 30 minutes of rummaging, August found himself directly in front of Crocodile's secret room with Robin following behind him. Adding Shatter energy to his finger, he touched the large metal door and it crumbled down almost instantly.

Aside from materials made of Seastone or the metal making the 21 grade and above swords, August could break it without sweat.

There were 2 main reasons August came here, first of which was taking all of Crocodile's assets.

His Casino, Rain Dinners was the 5th most popular in the world and gained a tremendous amount of revenue each year. His other source of revenue was the Baroque Works, which August was unsure of how much Crocodile gained from them, but he believed it was a lot.

His footsteps echoed as he walked through the large room, eventually stopping at a large vault.

If asked the question "How much money do you think Crocodile has?" then without a doubt August would answer "A fuck ton".

With another quick burst of Shatter energy, his suspicions were confirmed as his eyes devoured the room filled to the brim with treasures.

"Wow…" Robin said from behind him, mesmerized by the amount of money, and August seemed to have shared her thoughts.

"Yeah…Wow." August had never seen this amount of gold and berry in one place, even in the headquarters vault.

August took out the empty bags from his backpack and passed them to Robin.

"Fill these up with Crocodile's stuff, it should be easy with your devil fruit, I'll join you shortly."

It would take multiple trips of hauling the valuables back to the hotel, but it was all worth it. August would certainly put the money to good use, much more than the World Government who would seize Crocodile's casino when they finally noticed something was suspicious.

The second reason August came here was because of the Baroque Works. In the original series, the Baroque works were a criminal organization of bounty hunters who were promised rewards based on their contribution to Operation Utopia.

Using his Hades persona, August planned to take control of the Baroque Works and slowly slip his way into the underworld trade. The Revolutionary Army would benefit greatly from the weapons Hades could procure using his underground connections.

With leadership of the Baroque Works and the money of Crocodile, August could make the name Hades known throughout the underworld and procure all kinds of stuff beneficial to the army.

He looked through Crocodile's storage, eventually finding what he was looking for as his eyes gazed at the 2 snails. The first snail was for public use, such as with the world government, while the second one was for the Baroque works and his underworld dealings.

'This should come in handy.'

He grabbed the second snail and proceeded to call each of the named agents with a single message before hanging up.

"Meeting in 1 week, 12pm. Rainbase."

After doing that, he turned back to the main task at hand, which was importing all of Crocodile's wealth out of here. He was uncertain where he should spend all of this money, but he had a pretty good idea if all of his plans went well.

Hopefully by the end of this trip, everything would be back to normal and he and Robin would be on their way back to the Revolutionary Army.
