As they made their way through the dark corridors, the trio saw half-erased murals on the walls. From the images that they saw, a certain story emerged, in this story, the main character was some guy with snow-white wings, at first he lived among others like him. They were all in a beautiful, snow-white city. Seeing these images, Nila asked- " What kind of race
is this?"
"Visually, they resemble the Ains, but there is something strange."-said Warren.
Who is it?"-Nila was very interested.
"The Ains are a very ancient race, they have incredible strength from birth! They can't cultivate qi, the Ains progress differently. They control extremely strange energy, no other race can use such energy, this energy is somewhat similar to the chaotic energy that makes demons what they are. Chaotic energy is close to the energy of darkness, destruction and death, while the energy of the Ains is similar to the energy of light, life and creation. But there are also differences between Ains and demons, so demons can only use chaotic energy for a certain list of actions, they can not replace qi with chaotic energy. And the Ains can use this energy to summon some kind of demonic jewel, and cultivate it. The Ains are very few, but they live a very, very long time. If demons are considered by many to be the spawn of vices, then the Ains are saints."- told the guy all that he knew about the Ains, as he said Ains very little and for all his past life, he met only three.
"Warren, you said there was something strange about the creatures in the pictures, but you didn't say what it was."-Nila said.
"Yes, although the Ains are known as saints, but do not consider them soft-bodied, they are always dressed in armor and keep weapons at hand. And the creatures we see in the images are all, without exception, unarmed."- he replied.
"Is that all? Well, maybe they don't need to carry weapons on their own land?"-Eli intervened in the conversation.
"Maybe. There's no point in guessing. But something about the creatures depicted here tells me about the discrepancy. Okay, whatever!"- Warren tried to find the differences between the depicted creatures and the Ains, but could not.
"By the way, did you say that the Ains are a very ancient race?"
"Yes, and what? "
" And are the races divided into ancient and not?"-Eli didn't understand how any race could be ancient.
"Yes, the ancients include 4 races, it is believed that all other races are descended from these four. The first is the Ains, the second is the demon, the third is the dragon of origin, and the last of the four ancient races is called the Ancients. According to my knowledge, all the Primordial Gods were from these races. Hence, the races themselves appeared even earlier. And the history of ,for example, the elves begins only a million years after the beginning of the Era of the Primordial Gods. " - explained Warren.
"So all the existing races are descended from these four?"- asked Nila.
"Well, to be precise, it's mostly from the Ancients. Of course, all dragons are descended from dragons of origin. But beastmen, elves, Titans, humans, and many other races descended from the Ancients. Many of the living demons themselves are not only descended from demons, and there are thousands of races among the demons, but they all remain demons. The Ains are quite closed in this regard, personally I do not know about the race that goes back to the Ains. " - gave a rather detailed answer Warren.
"And what about bird-beastmen? They are quite similar to the creatures from the frescoes, and, apparently, to the Ains. Could they be descendants of the Ains? Or even the murals might have something to do with them?"
"Heh, ALL beastmen are descended from the Ancients, I can vouch for that, and as for your second question, that's definitely not the case! You've probably never been to the Beastman lands. The lands of the beastmen are literally saturated with their own color, very unique by the way, if you had seen their way of life, you would never have asked such a question. I don't think you've even seen the beastmen themselves. Am I right? " -The guy chuckled.
"How did you know that?"-the dragon replied with a question.
"I'm telling you, if you saw the beastmen with your own eyes, you wouldn't even think about it! Beastmen enough... wild ones. They are more like demons in their behavior than the Ains or these creatures from the frescoes. They would never be able to create such a city, and they would not even be able to live in peace there. The Beastmen live every day as if it were the last, in constant motion, most of them would not be able to even sit in a city like this for a week. Someday I will go on a trip with you, you will see it and you will understand what I mean. " - the guy told his thoughts.
"Do you promise?" -the girl asked and smiled sweetly.
"Of course!"- the guy promised.
Nila muttered softly to herself, as if she had been forgotten.
"Haha! And we will not forget to take you with us too! It will be a kind of trip with the whole family!" - the guy laughed.
"Great! I just wanted to go to the Eastern Continent for a long time!" - Eli exclaimed and laughed, her laughter hiding her sadness.
"What does the Eastern Continent have to do with it?" - Nila didn't understand.
"What do you mean? The Eastern Continent is the continent of the Beastmen!" - Eli replied.
Warren looked at Eli and saw a glimmer of sadness on her face as she talked about the Eastern Continent.
"That's right because the dragon king of the Eastern Continent killed her father. Apparently our journey will not be so peaceful. "- the guy thought, he looked at Eli and said- "I will help you!"
Eli immediately understood what the guy was talking about. The fact that he cared so much for her warmed her heart. She became very happy and forgot about Warren's warning to follow him, jumped into his arms and kissed him passionately.
"Bang!" - suddenly there was a crash, passages opened in the walls, from which stone golems began to climb out. Some took only a couple of steps before falling and falling apart.
"Time doesn't spare!" - the guy muttered when he finished the kiss, hearing the noise. He glared at Eli, slapped her ass, and growled- " I told you to follow me!"
".."- the girl felt guilty.
"Don't worry, I'll punish you later! Now we need to deal with these dummies! According to the fluctuations I feel from them, they should be able to match the peak cultivator of Heavenly Enlightenment."-Warren said.
"I thought they'd be stronger..."- said Eli.
"Don't forget, they've been standing here for a very long time, some of them even crumbled. I'm sure they were much stronger in their peak state."Warren explained, then he turned to the golems, there were 11 of them, but before he could swing his sword, Nila was already charging forward with her bare fists.
"Damn it, what's wrong with this girl, she recently lost to four cultivators with similar strength, and now she's already rushing..."- Warren wanted to swear, but to his great surprise, Nila slipped between the golems and rushed to one of the passages, but Warren remembered that the golem did not come out of there, he looked closely and saw a pedestal with a spear in this passage. The girl grabbed the spear, her aura instantly changed, the aura of the girl became incredibly calm, but as everyone knows beware of a silent dog and still water. A calm aura was sometimes far more frightening than a fierce one.
Nila raised her spear and pointed it at the golems that were closing in on her, and she charged straight at them, completely calm. She pushed off the ground with the spear shaft and flew a few meters above the golems and simultaneously struck, destroying one golem. When she landed, she danced among the opponents with a spear that seemed to be an extension of her body. Each spear strike hit exactly the target and instantly destroyed one opponent.
In just a few moments, all the golems were reduced to a pile of rocks.
