Suddenly, Nila collapsed and fell to the floor, and the spear scattered in the air.
"What's the matter with you?"-asked Eli, seeing this, and rushed to Nila.
"Don't worry, she just used up all her energy. Plus, don't forget, she left your barrier and had to defend herself against the evil energy around her. Just pour your energy into her and she'll wake up soon."-Warren said.
"What is this spear?"- asked Eli, beginning to pour energy into Nila's body.
"This is a spiritualized artifact, a minimum of an Imperial Class, but judging by the way the artifact affected Nila's aura, it's more of a Legendary or Divine Class. More precisely, I will be able to determine when I look closer after Nila wakes up. " - the guy explained.
"Why does her aura change so much when she summons the spear?"-Eli asked.
"The aura changes because of the power of the artifact and the fact that it is spiritualized, let the spirit sleep. And as for just such a serene aura, the reason lies in the star energy. " - the guy gave her the answer.
.
.
.
.
.
"Ah! I ... what's going on?"- asked Nila, who had just woken up.
"You spent all your energy and lost consciousness."-Warren said, sitting near.
"And where is my spear?" - the girl began to look around.
Instead of answering, Warren took the girl's hand and rolled up her sleeve, there was a small image of a star.
"What is this?!"- the girl was surprised.
"Artifact seal. Spiritualized artifacts create an artifact seal on the host's body and are stored there until the host needs them. Just think about it and the artifact will appear."-Warren said.
Nila looked at her hand, wished for a spear, and with a flash of cold light, the spear materialized in her hand. Nila's aura was calm again. Warren noted in his heart- " A Star Element Divine Class Artifact?! Unexpected!"
Nila turned to Warren and said-" A spiritualized artifact? From what I know about spiritualized artifacts, a spear should have a spirit, which is the definition of a spiritualized artifact, but I don't feel the presence of a spirit."
"Remember what happened before you lost consciousness. Why did you go straight to the spear? "- said Warren.
"I, I heard a voice, it was calling me! He was very quiet, as if someone was talking with the last of their strength. Who spoke to me?"-Nila wondered.
"It was an artifact spirit. The spirit must have lost its energy over the years and spent the last of it calling out to you."- the guy explained.
"How can I help the spirit?"- the girl was interested.
"The spirit of the artifact is now in the process of recovering, and after the energy is restored and the spirit wakes up, you just need to wait for a little. The spirit absorbs energy from the outside itself when it is in the artifact seal. If you use an artifact, especially if you do it actively, then the spirit absorbs your energy, which is why you lost consciousness. You can just recall the artifact and wait. "- The guy said.
"Good."-The girl agreed and withdrew the spear, her aura returning to normal.
"By the way, why didn't I hear any voice?"-Eli asked.
"Well, that's not surprising, because the spirit chose and contacted Nila."- said the guy- "Okay, let's go on!"
The murals continued to tell the story of a young man with snow-white wings as they went along. Perhaps due to the fact that some of the frescoes were erased by time, an incomplete picture appeared in front of the trinity. But from what they saw, there was a story about a guy who stumbled and committed some crime, because of which he became a villain in the eyes of his relatives, he was blamed. At the same time, the guy himself did not consider his actions something bad, he just chose a different path. But in the eyes of the head of their city, the guy was a traitor, he took and stripped the guy of his wings, tearing them out with his bare hands, and crippled him, then drove him away.
The guy, being in a hostile world to him, succumbed to negative emotions, he literally choked on these emotions, after which he appeared only after some time. Exactly how much time passed and what happened between these events, the trio could not find out, because some of the frescoes were so damaged by time that it was impossible to make out anything there. After an unknown period of time, his appearance also underwent changes, in particular, he again had wings, but not snow-white as before, but demonic. He began to conduct some experiments. Once again, the trio encountered a piece of missing information. When the boy reappeared, he was surrounded by demons who greeted him as a ruler.
"Husband, who do you think this is?"-Eli asked.
"I can't say for sure..." -he replied.
"Look! There's a gate ahead!"-Nila exclaimed at this moment and pointed ahead. Eli and Warren put aside their thoughts about the history of the murals and turned their attention to where Nila pointed. In front of them was a huge door that, even after all these years, was still intact. The evil energy that was all over the ruins was seeping out from there.
Warren turned around and looked at Eli, and he said:" Eli, honey, stay here with Nila. "
But why?" -Eli did not want to let him go there alone, Nila nodded, showing her solidarity in this matter.
"In my opinion, the concentration of evil energy inside can reach terrifying heights. And I don't think you, or even Nila, can handle it."-Warren said.
"But you have the lowest cultivation!" -exclaimed Nila worriedly.
"This evil energy is somewhat similar to chaotic energy, I don't think it can do me much harm, I'm a demon after all. You don't have to worry."-The guy reassured them. He went to Eli and kissed her gently, then went to Nila and kissed her, too.
After calming the girls down a bit, Warren began to approach the gate cautiously, when he was only a couple of steps away, he turned around and smiled at the two beauties behind him, then pushed the gate open with both hands. From the gate, he felt a huge force of gravity and was literally sucked inside, and the gate behind him immediately slammed shut.
Warren found himself in a dark space. Suddenly a voice rang out.
"Unbelievable, I never thought that the person who comes here would be LIKE THIS..."- said the voice. The voice was quite low, but nothing else stood out.
"Who's talking?!"-Warren exclaimed into the darkness.
"I am only an imprint of the soul of the original self, one might say a ghost."-The voice said, and the hero of the murals appeared in front of Warren, he was older, but his appearance was still discernible. His hair was as white as snow, but for some reason, it didn't look light at all, just the opposite.
The man had incredibly black eyes, and it seemed that all the darkness around Warren came from those black eyes, which was a little confusing even for someone as sophisticated as Warren.
"So what do you want?"-he asked the man.
"I am looking for a successor. You're the second person to come in here."-the man replied.
"Do you take me for a fool? These ruins are not that difficult to find, and almost anyone who has achieved at least Imperial Enlightenment would be able to get to this gate, something I do not believe that I am the second! " - said Warren.
"Haha, you're right, many people can reach the gate, but to go inside and survive..."-the man grinned.
"Let's say it's true, but why do I need the legacy of someone who is so weak that his structure has turned into ruins after only a couple of hundred years?"-the guy asked.
"I'm not going to teach you construction. And as for my legacy... For millions of years, the Absolute Gods have asked to become my disciples, and you want to refuse?!"-the man was even surprised.
"Heh, do you really think I'll believe it? Why don't you introduce yourself first, then?"
"Haha, good, good! I have a lot of names and they probably won't tell you anything, so just say I'm the progenitor of the demonic race!"-The man startled Warren.
"No! These ruins are at most 3 hundred thousand years old! You can't be the progenitor of the demonic race."-Warren exclaimed.
"Yes, you're right, this structure is just over 280,000 years old, but couldn't the true God, even if he was a former God, have discovered something strange in this Lower Realm?"-the man asked calmly.
"How do you know that I was a True God?!"-Warren looked wary.
"Heh, you didn't think that I would be able to miss this fact, did you? Well, you'd better try to figure out what's wrong with this Lower Realm."-the man continued.
Warren began to think, and after a while, he actually found something strange...

Guys, I've been having trouble sleeping lately, and when I sat down to write, I just couldn't find one word for 10-15 minutes. Rereading what I wrote, I immediately deleted everything, because it turned out some crap. So if this chapter didn't turn out very well, I'm sorry.
