THE REAL TRUTH.

"How did you two know each other?" Ella asked. "We met him together when we visited your father when you were five." "I don't recall meeting her,"  Trent said to him. "Yeah, you did, Did you remember the fat girl that saw you and ran away shouting monster, monster?" "yes, I do, that was Ella!" Trent was dumbfounded.

"Yeah, she looked like a pig as a child." Ellis laughed.

"No, I was not." Ella looked embarrassed.  "I remembered her, I was smoking while leaning on a tree when a fat girl who looked like an inflated balloon came over, and when she saw she started screaming monster. Seriously I thought she was walking and didn't know that was how she ran."  The others broke into a loud laughter.

Ella felt like digging a hole and burying herself. "Ever since that day, I made sure to call your father to know when Trent won't visit. And now look, my baby has fallen in love with the same man she was scared of."

"I remembered those amazing days, I also remembered the day Trent called Father about the attack." Ellis's eyes glistened with tears.

"then why didn't you leave, Grandpa why didn't you do anything about it, if you did Mum, Dad and Elijah would be alive, if you did Ellis would not have been assaulted!"  Ella choked as she cried heavily.

"Ella, I think we tell you what happened that night." Her grandpa came closer.  "There's no need, a fairy showed me everything about my parents and brother's death and the horrible things my sister went through." She cleaned her face as fresh tears flowed down.

"That was not what happened."  "What?" Ella was confused.

"When Trent informed your father, he told me, people were protesting in front of the house asking your father to turn himself in. The rogues used the opportunity to attack."

"The people even tried to stop them but they put them in some kind of trance," Ellis remembered it like it was yesterday.

"Dad, what's wrong with them?  The protester's head sways with the wind.

"Let's go!" Ellis watched the muscular guy lead them in.

"You mean the man put them in a trance?" Ellis nodded her head. Simon sat beside her and held her hand. Ellis smiled at him before resuming the story.

"Dad stood by the door to stop them from passing by he even shot in the air to scare them but they didn't stop." Ellis shivered as she recalled it.  Samuel shot one of the people in the leg but they still didn't stop they were like zombies.

Elijah was standing beside Ellis and their mother Elizabeth.  The ladies were whimpering in fear.  "Elijah! Call Samuel, Eliza take Ellis, and go upstairs!" Elijah sped to his room to call the original Samuel Basset; Simon's older brother. The muscular guy smiled as he watched as Samuel was trying to stop people from entering the house, he started to shoot them in the head.

Eliza held Ellis as they climbed the stairs, Ellis suffered from a panic attack, and Eliza held Ellis's hands and, sang a calming tune to calm Ellis down.  The muscular guy super sped, his nails grew long and needle-like at the tip. His finger dug into Samuel's stomach.  Samuel cried out in pain, this got the attention of Eliza and Ellis.

He pulled Samuel's lungs out, Samuel patted out blood and fell on the ground, Eliza screamed and ran towards him. "Dad!" Ellis screamed she felt dizzy and her body began to twitch, when Eliza got there, the muscular man caught her and bit into her neck, he didn't stop drinking until he drew out all her blood. Her body fell to the ground looking pale and lifeless.

"Stop, I do not get it." Ella sat down and held her head.  "What's the problem love?" Trent's voice was gentle. "When Elfira Showed me the death of my parents It was different from what you are telling me.

"What did Elvira tell you about their death?" her grandpa asked curiously. "She showed me that Dad was beaten to death and shot so was Mum, Elijah was shot in the head and Ellis was assaulted by a lot of men." Ella cried as she blurted out everything. Trent held her in his arms while stroking her back.

"Ella, that's a lie, Although I was almost assaulted by the muscular guy, Eliza shot at him but it did not to him, instead he used his telekinesis to forcefully push Elijah, his head smashed onto the staircase, he passed out while bleeding heavily." Ellis covered her mouth and her tears threatened to fall.

"Wait, the muscular guy, drained your mother's blood, and he was able to put all the people in a trance, he was also able to use telekinesis?"

                        "Yeah," Ellis answered.

"Do you suspect something?" Ella's voice was cracked.

"Yes, Vampires are sometimes born with mutation that gives them special abilities but from what you said I suspect that he's a Vampire-Witch.

"It makes sense, he used magic to block Samuel's attack," Ellis recalled the fight.

Ellis ran over to Elijah and laid his head on her lap, She was trying her best not to panic, the blood coming from his head; made her sight blurry.

Samuel used his gold dust to make a fist and punched the muscular

"It is okay." Simon patted her shoulder. "He started to walk toward me, When Samuel appeared he punched him and he fell on the ground.

He ran over to Elijah and Ellis, he made a portal. He carried Elijah on his shoulder and stretched out his hand to Ellis, She raised her shaking hand to place on his when the muscular man punched Samuel, Samuel and Elijah fell into the portal and it closed. "Now are alone again." His seductive and yet dangerous voice resounded through the room. Ellis shivered in fear, her breathing began to seize, and the other humans were still standing in a trance.

He reached out to touch her when a sword pierced through the muscular guy's stomach. He screamed in pain. He turns to look at Samuel smirking at him from behind, The muscular guy gritted his teeth in anger. "Get him!" The humans in a trance ran towards Samuel, his dust spread around the people coming over to him, Samuel muttered some magic words and the people fell to sleep.

"Damn you, gold dust witches!"  the woods raised in the air, Samuel got ready for the attack.  But the woods did not come in his direction, instead, it went straight for Ellis. Samuel was able to use a wall of gold dust to stop the woods.  He grabbed the muscular guy and teleported away from her using a portal.

"That was the last time I saw Elijah and Samuel."  Ellis sobbed.

"When I got there with Romulus and some high officials, Ellis was a mess, she couldn't even recognize me, She carried a gun from the ground and threatened to shoot anyone that came close to her. Romulus was the one that made her pass out. Everyone assumed that she was raped because of the bite marks on her neck and her torn gown."

"So, you decided to go ahead with the lie?" Ella looked at the two of them.

"Yes, I begged the doctor to announce that Ellis was mad and mentally unstable; that part wasn't a lie your sister lost herself for a while." Old man Patterson looked down sadly.

"Are you saying that Elijah might be alive somewhere?" Ella asked.

"I looked for him everywhere and also prayed and hoped that he would come back home but nothing." Old man Patterson's eyes became teary.

"Then the organization lied about finding Elijah and our parents' bodies?"  Ella was flabbergasted.

"Yes, Romulus did that to protect Elijah wherever he is."  The grandfather's voice was low.

"Is that the reason, why I was not allowed to see their bodies or go to their burial?" Ella's lips quivered.

           Oldman Patterson nodded his head.

Ella abruptly stood up. "You have both been lying to me! Why I am always in the dark about everything happening in this family? Why would let me believe my brother was dead?!"  Ella was furious at them.

"I wanted you to have a normal life and to follow your dreams." Old man Patterson tried to explain his case. "Is that so? I joined the organization, left my online classes, and didn't care about my life just to clear my father's name, I felt guilty for solving other cases instead of my own family's just to find out that I was being toyed with!" Ella's eyes were blood red.

        "Ella, we only wanted to…

"Stop making excuses!" she yelled at Ellis, Ella felt suffocated and her head felt heavy; she ran out of the room. Old man Patterson stood up to follow. "Let me, I don't think she would want to see you." Trent ran after her.
