Chapter 4

when I called back for him who was in the daze, he got startled and looked vigilantly at me. Its been a long time since I have seen him like that so, I was in a daze at what to do, and he seems to realize that it's me so, he seems to visibly relax and asked, "did the day go well for you? did anyone bully you, when I'm not here?" I shake my head and told him "well, no on bullied me, after knowing that you are not here I went to Ray's house".

"Did it not go well for you when you went out?" I asked him back seeing how he looked wary just now, hearing this Leo lowered his head seemed to thought of something he looked back at me with the expression 'where -is -it ?' and I know what that means so I took back the bottle that I kept holding behind my back. Leo took his gifts smiling just like the angel, it made me think that the person who seemed vigilant just now was not him. I was really curious at what made him like that but it seems that he will not tell me the reason no matter how i asked, so I dropped the topic and told him what happened at the orphanage he was not around.

It's been a month since Leo went out with his relatives and there is a news early this morning about someone seeing a monster running around in the forest. Both Leo and Ray seems to be interested in the topic but Ray ends up saying it maybe a joke made by someone to scare others as there is no such monsters in the world and Leo seems to agree with his point and, just nodded his head.

It's finally Ray's ten years old birthday, his mother came to grandpa's house to celebrate his birthday and his mom looks so beautiful just like an actress when I told this to Ray, he just smiled silently and I don't know whether he was agreeing with me or not. Ray's mom is really kind she bought many gifts to Leo and me. so, I and Leo made her a flower crown with flowers in the field to show our appreciation.

Ray's mom stayed and played with us for three days and left saying she has many things to deal with. I gave Ray a small color fish that I got in the river for his birthday. Ray as always, the arrogant him told how he has many beautiful fishes in his house in city but still he took the fish back with him, when I asked him to give it back since he doesn't want them.

when it comes to my birthday as always I received my gifts from both of them, Ray gives me dolls every year and Leo gives me fish that he caught from the river as he was really talented in fishing, and we take it back to grandpa's house to cook it for eating later. But this time different from the other birthdays he gave me a hairclip which looked so expensive just like the things Ray's mom gave me, and I assume that he bought it when he went to city with his relatives.

Not like before after Leo became ten years old he often goes to city with his relatives and Ray's grandpa made Ray study piano and arts. Now then I'm seven years old, school goes same as before, Ray's grandpa asked me whether I'm willing to study piano, arts and dance with Ray, although I don't have much thought of it when I looked how pitiful Ray looked because he is not interested in such things but compelled to study it, I thought of accompanying him. Just like that we both start studying together.
