When they were about to eat, Adori promptly stopped her training and joined them to have the feast as she sat down beside Liu Guanyi and Xin.
"I thought you weren't going to join?" Liu Guanyi casually asked.
"Well, it smells quite nice and you are the one who cooked it, so why not?" Adori said with a smile on her face.
"I am really flattered that a noble princess of Zahard would think so highly of my dish." Said Liu Guanyi with a half-joking and half-serious voice.
They took three plates for one of them each to eat. Even though they were in a wild place, it didn't mean they couldn't eat as usual. The lighthouses were just that practical and useful.
They calmly savor their food while chatting from time to time, enjoying the gentle ambiance in the grassland. In just a few minutes, the white tiger seemed to be done with her meal as nothing was left on the two wooden racks Liu Guanyi had given her.
However, she didn't seem to be satisfied yet as she had a different plan.
At first, Little White looked toward Adori, who didn't seem to care about her as she continued to slowly eat her portion of the meal, a single fully grown elk.
Realizing that Adori didn't even care, Little White turned toward Xin, which different from Adori, responded nicely as he smiled at her. He cut some meat more from his portion of meat from the rack, before handing the rest to her.
The white tiger was about to grab the rack from him using her paw but Xin quickly pulled it back, making her paw only grasp thin air, prompting her to growl at Xin threateningly.
In response to her growl, Xin simply stuck his tongue at her and began to eat the meat dramatically to give her an idea of how delicious the meat was.
Little White then quickly gave up. She knew that she couldn't do anything toward the yellow-haired nuisance. She was foolish enough to let her believe that this human would give her anything other than frustration.
Now, she had all of her hopes up.
Wait, no, not yet.
There was still the greatest human left.
Little White turned toward Liu Guanyi, who was still eating casually. Looking at her cute begging face of the overgrown cat, he put away all of his grilled elk that was left to her as he put the wooden rack in front of her.
The tiger growled lightly in appreciation and gratitude and bowed her head before she quickly dived into the meaty flesh of the grilled elk, creating a crunching noise while Liu Guanyi watched on with a smile, and then got up and dusted off his clothes.
Seeing this, Adori stopped eating. "Hmm, you don't want to eat all of the elk, Liu? That's pretty odd for you." She said with a hint of puzzlement. After all, Liu Guanyi had always been eating more than triple or even quadruple the amount of food for people of his stature.
"Not really, I have been eating less and less recently." Liu Guanyi smiled. "I simply do not want to bother eating so much."
"Now that you said it, you are right. You have been slowly and steadily decreasing the amount of food that you eat since we climbed to the 76th floor four years ago. What's going on? You aren't someone who acts just for the sake of it."
"Also, weren't you the one who said that eating a lot of foods helps us build our muscles and give us more energy to train intensely? Throwing away those benefits without any reason doesn't seem reasonable at all, especially to a training freak like you." Adori casually said as she tried to probe him.
Even Xin was also interested in the matter as he perked up his ears to listen more attentively.
Liu Guanyi only shrugged off his shoulders. "Well, I have reached the point that no matter how much I eat, it won't affect me positively nor negatively at all. My body has become so tough that even if I don't eat anything for a very long time, I will still be completely fine."
"As for the energy to train?" Liu Guanyi smirked. "Right now, I practically have all the energy to train 24 hours constantly every single day, without any rest or sleep." Said Liu Guanyi very casually as if it wasn't a big deal at all.
"Wow! That's really incredible Mr. Liu, you are practically a living machine that could work endlessly! Wait, you are even better since you don't need any maintenance!" Xin exclaimed passionately as he couldn't imagine that it was true. But since it was him, it should be absolutely true!
Meanwhile, Adori only stared at his face and let out a soft sigh. "I guess you have improved immensely once again and will leave me in the dust. You are already extremely powerful and now you can train endlessly without sleeping."
Adori's mouth curled up into a smile. "As expected of you, Liu, you are a monster."
"You two give me too much credit. Aren't you guys already training yourselves at a level where it's considered really extreme for humans, especially you, Adori." Liu Guanyi's mouth curled up into a knowing smirk.
"I know that since our last fight, you have been training so much harder that you only sleep when it is almost dawn and quickly wake up to train again when the dawn has finished. However, that's not all."
Liu Guanyi smiled. "I know that you, at times, even stay up the whole night to train for two days consecutively
"Yep, Mr. Liu is right, you look much more motivated after losing against Mr. Liu. Well, that's natural for you since the usually mighty and lofty princess of Zahard got stomped so hard." Xin chimed in to acknowledge his words and also mock Adori.
Adori merely gazed him back calmly. "Like you are the one to talk, Xin. At least I can still graze Liu while you can't do anything at all to Liu." She smirked at him as his previous provocation did nothing to her.
