They continued to chat and joke around while finishing their food. After they were done and Little White was satiated, they continued their journey as they walked across the rocky grassland.
Liu Guanyi, Xin, and Adori didn't walk on foot though, as they all climbed on the white tiger's wide back, sitting neatly without any problem despite it rocked every time the tiger stepped on uneven ground and with no saddle to hold them all the while enjoying the gentle wind and natural scenery.
Sitting cross-legged in the front near the tiger's neck was Liu Guanyi. He looked far forward to the vast rocky grassland with his dark eyes as he steered Little White to go wherever direction he wanted.
With his incredible vision, even some small critters miles away couldn't escape his eyesight so being the one who decided where the group should go was natural as it was practically impossible for him to lose direction even in this expanse land of rocks and grasses.
Also, Little White would only listen to his orders so that was also another reason.
Xin was laying down on the tiger's thick fluffy fur just behind Liu Guanyi with his eyes closed tightly. He breathed slowly as he seemed to be fully asleep. Well, he was indeed sleeping and Liu Guanyi could sympathize with the reason why.
Since all of them trained extremely diligently and hard to the point of pushing their body to its maximum limits possible. For Liu Guanyi, this didn't pose much trouble for him as he could recover at a very rapid speed.
For Adori, this also didn't really have any notable negative impacts as she was gifted with the king's blood, making her constitution and endurance exceptionally great, though still far from Liu Guanyi.
However, Xin wasn't any of them. He didn't have a special power like Liu Guanyi or a great potential like Adori. He was simply a decently talented member of the branch of the Tu Perie family.
To not fall behind far away from Liu Guanyi and Adori, Xin always encouraged himself to train as hard as possible. But no matter how hard he had tried, they were still far ahead of him in terms of their efforts and tenacity in training.
It couldn't be helped, that was just how it was. Both of them were much more powerful physically than him so their stamina and endurance far surpassed his.
Due to this, Xin had almost gone overboard in his training to try to catch up to them and almost got injured, which would delay his training, thus increasing the gap between them even more.
Fortunately, Liu Guanyi had responded quickly to educate Xin to walk at his own pace and oversee his progress. So whenever he had any difficult issues in his training, Liu Guanyi would guide him patiently and kindly, making the hellish routine much more bearable.
However, training so hard still impacted Xin despite Liu Guanyi overseeing and guiding him at all times. It wasn't anything serious or grievous really, but still affecting him nonetheless… namely exhaustion.
That was why, on the rare occasion that there was no training or work like this, Xin usually liked to spend it to rest his tired body and last but not least, his psyche.
Different from Liu Guanyi who had unshakable determination to reach the top and explore the untrodden path of the Martial Way, or Adori who had an extraordinary amount of passion in the swords as a drive and her painful experience for her to ceaselessly move forward, Xin didn't have a particular or special reason like them.
Even though he was abandoned by his family, he didn't particularly hate them.
If Liu Guanyi didn't help him at that time, it was easy to predict that he would have become nothing close to his current achievement or even maybe even meet his demise at some point.
His current motivation to train really hard was to be able to make himself useful for Liu Guanyi in order to repay the favor and kindness that Liu Guanyi had extended to him back then and for all the years that they had gone through together.
Although his motivation and determination were pretty solid, his reason was still much more lacking compared to what Liu Guanyi and Adori had.
Also, mere willpower alone wouldn't make him able to endure the immense stress and exhaustion that all the training had done for him.
This was why Xin liked to play around with Little White and Liu Guanyi had allowed him to keep her as a pet as some sort of entertainment and medicine for his tired soul.
Liu Guanyi also didn't want Xin to feel too exhausted and stressed.
A condition like that could eventually break him so he wanted to make sure Xin's overall health was alright. He would be an important human resources asset for him in the not distant future, after all.
Meanwhile, Adori silently sat in the back as she was seemingly focused on reading something on the lighthouse's white screen. Whatever she read was apparently intriguing enough as she scrolled down her finger to read more of the content.
Little White continued to walk without any complaints about those who had been free-loading on her back for a long time, showing Liu Guanyi's decent control over the animal.
When Adori saw him easily tame the big white tiger, she at first had assumed that he had the talent for being anima. However, Liu Guanyi quickly denied her assumption as he had tried the method usually used by the animas that didn't work at all on Little White.
Eventually, Adori had to accept that it was just part of his special ability.
If his ability to bond with Shinheuh could be developed to be on par with those animas from the Lo Po Bia family, it would be decent as a supplement and addition to his already vast repertoire of skills.
However, Adori had expected that Liu Guanyi wouldn't bother to develop this particular skill of his as it would simply waste his time that he could make of use better than training to control Shinheuh.
It was understandable, the power of being an anima completely relied on their Shinheuh so having the talent of an anima without a compatible or useful Shinheuh was useless.
For Liu Guanyi, only the top-level Shinheuh would be useful at all.
But most importantly, Liu Guanyi wasn't someone who liked to rely on others.
Rather than using borrowed strength, he greatly preferred to use his own strength as it was much more reliable.
