The commotion attracted the rest of the guards in the post. But when they arrived on the scene and were about to assist their fellow guards, the same thing happened to them as they suddenly stopped moving and halted on their spots.

No matter how hard they tried to move, they couldn't even twitch their fingers and blink their eyes, shocking them to the core as they felt incomparable dread in their hearts.

Reverse Flow Shinsu Control… the ability to stop any object or even destroy itself from the inside by controlling the inner flow of shinsu inside the object.

Looking into the golden piercing eyes that looked down indifferently at him like he was an insignificant creature lesser than a bug, the guard captain finally realized his mistake, for trying to reach her with his dirty hands.

Although Adori was beautiful, extremely so, she wasn't just beautiful.

She was dazzling like the sun that shined brightly in the sky and give warmth to any creature underneath it. However, if anybody tried to reach it or flew too close to it, they would be inevitably burned to ashes, just like the guard captain.

Liu Guanyi didn't say anything and only glanced at them, Xin only shrugged his shoulders, while Little White did nothing. Being unable to move, they could only stare with their eyes as the three ignored them as if they were statues and moved past them without a care.

Adori was exceptionally gifted in shinsu control. Just like how Liu Guanyi had long learned Reverse Flow Shinsu Control, she had also managed to learn it a long time ago.

It was just that she never found a suitable time when she really needed to use it.

Adori preferred to use her sword than shinsu control to fight.

However, these scums weren't even worthy for her to take her sword. Also, Reverse Flow Shinsu Control most of the time wouldn't work on skilled people that could protect their inner shinsu flow or had a high shinsu resistance, such as Liu Guanyi.

That was why, despite the usefulness of the skill, Reverse Flow Shinsu Control wasn't really practical against an opponent on the same level.

But since the guards weren't even B-ranked regulars and Adori was the one who casted the skill, it was easy to guess how effective the skill was.

Adori didn't use her full power to freeze all of them but she had adjusted that it will stop them at least a few hours, something that was outrageous for the skill but considering the disparity of power between them, it was completely reasonable.

Adori didn't what kind of effect it would have on their bodies since she had never tested it and seen the result personally.

Stopping the inner flow of shinsu wasn't a joke.

Shinsu was needed for the body to work and oxygenate the blood.

Completely stopping the flow would be equivalent to drowning them underwater while also stopping all of their organs from functioning at the same time. Even someone who was completely ignorant about biology could guess that something like that knew that it was bad.

Anyway, who cared about them?

Adori, Liu Guanyi, and Xin certainly didn't care whether they would eventually die or not after the Reverse Flow Shinsu Control's effect eventually worn out nor the effects that resulted on their bodies as they nonchalantly strolled into the town.

When they walked around, many people glanced at them.

However, even if they were often stared at by many people due to their looks or Adori's status and reputation, they could feel that this time, it was different than the usual and there was something oddly wrong.

Instead of the normal glances, Liu Guanyi felt many of them openly staring in their direction as if they were some kind of rare animal. He could see that they had a subtle, almost unnoticeable if not because of his sharp eyes, but weird expression as they looked at them.

This was odd.

Although they had a big tiger with them, something like that wouldn't attract their interest that much as Shinheuh wasn't rare no matter the place in the tower. Also, none of them wore anything that suggested that they were from the ten great families nor the Zahard family.

Liu Guanyi didn't really care though, as they ignored the weird looks from the passerby and went to some shops to resupply and asked around about area and the town. However, unfortunately for them, it seemed the problem they previously had with the guards was also prevalent here, which made heave a long sigh.

It seemed that even in the tower, some places were still pretty backward.

Adori offered the merchant they were currently dealing with an E-ranked pocket, the cheapest pocket but the merchant didn't need to use it for getting the contract of permission on the 80th floor so it should be good enough, at least for communicating.

The merchant picked up the pocket and eyed it for a moment, seemingly curious of the true nature of the device. He then tapped it with his finger as per their instruction and finally, they could communicate with ease.

"So, are you familiar with the area around here?" Asked Adori.

"Well, yes, dear customers. I am certainly familiar with the area since I have been living in this town when I was a child." The merchant answered with a smile plastered on his face. Unlike the other people before, he didn't really stare at them intensely.

"Then, do you know the ways to go to the Dreadrock Swamp?" Asked Adori again.

"Hmm? The Dreadrock Swamp?" The merchant muttered with a solemn expression. "I do know how to get there. However, that place is not something you want to visit, dear customers. It is really dangerous with many aggressive Shinheuh lurking around."

Adori shook her head. "It doesn't matter. We still want to go there."

Feeling the firmness of her voice, the Merchant nodded. "I see, it seems that you really want to go there."

He smiled. "Then, I won't hold you back, dear customers."

The merchant went over his and rummaged his place, seemingly looking for something. Which was true as he exclaimed in joy when he found out what he was looking for.

"There we go, dear customers. Please look at it yourselves." He said as he placed the object in his hand on the table counter.
