The tale of the demonic assassin, Ignys

In the magical lands of Quaris was a folktale that went by alot of names, the most famous one being the tale of the black lizard.







The story was about a assassin that went by the name "The Black Lizard".

There was a hero who had conquered multiple dungeons and he was well respected in the world due to him giving his earnings to the poor.

At some point a noble gave the hero his daughters hand, yet the rightious hero refused as he had no feelings for the girl.



The noble was enraged and at some point he got a letter with the stamp of a black lizard, telling him a location to meet.





When the noble went there he met a cloaked man, who offered to take out the hero, for a fee ofcourse.





The noble complied and soon after that the hero was found dead, missing his eyes.

Across his room were drawings of a black lizard.

This story scared alot of children out of the adventurer profession, and once the children grew up a bit their parents would tell them that the story was all a fable.



However, this was not true.

The Black Lizard truly existed, and he went by the name Ignys.

More specifically, he was known as The Demonic Assassin, Ignys!

Ignys lost his family at the young age of fifteen after a failed demonic ritual.

The demon inhabited the body of Ignys, granting him unrivaled powers, yet his very mind was broken.
