Chapter 40: Water princess
"Our sources have said that the adventurer's guild and many other smaller guilds are right on our tails" a spy reported "It is suggested that we stop our movements for now"
"Yeah, put it on halt" Leona clicked her tongue "But get our operations moving again as soon as we throw them off our tail, we can't have it delayed any further"

Perseus and the 2 spirit beast have just entered the house after their trip to the cemetery.
"You're back, I assume your trip went smoothly?" Dabria asked
"Of course, feels good to not be followed" Perseus answered
"Our trip to the spirit world is going to be arranged and we can go right after the tournament, but for now they gave us our reward and compensated our money back" Nova then handed Perseus a pouch of gold coins
"Will we be doing anything in the spiritual world?" Ace asked "And which spirit nation are we visiting? The demons or the angels?"
"We will be visiting the demons" Nova answered "And as for what we're doing, I don't know yet, we'll have to check on the tasks given out once we arrived, but we won't be doing anything that would attract a lot of attention, probably some small tasks since the demons and angels still look down on us quite a bit"
"Not the first time that people would look down on me, so I probably wouldn't mind their attitude" Perseus shrugged "Well I do mind it just a teeny bit"
"And we can keep the cloaks, right?" Elliot asked
"Yeah, we can keep them, but if we damage them in anyway, they won't be responsible for the repairs, and these cloaks are very high quality, so fixing them cost a lot, especially the one Perseus has" Dabria answered
"We have Eliza and Luke, those 2 can repair anything" Elliot scoffs
"Maybe we can get Perseus to ask Eliza to fix it for us so that we can enjoy the show again" Ace suggested "It was very funny"
"You all have a weird sense of humor" Perseus commented
"Oh yeah, what do YOU find funny?" Nova asked
"Alright, I got a good one" Perseus replied "But let me get Damon and Diana out to hear their opinions too"
Damon and Diana then emerged from his shadows.
"Well it better be good" Damon said
"You guys know the phrase 'One man's trash is another man's treasure?', right?" Perseus asked
"Yeah, why?" Diana replied
"Wonderful saying, but a really horrible way to find out that you were adopted." Perseus answered "Funny, right?"
Siege cracked a smile but hid it, Ace was also holding his laugh, but the Silvers didn't even crack a smile, well Elliot did, but he held his laugh since Nova and Dabria didn't think it was funny.
"That is pretty funny" Damon chuckled but got elbowed by Diana
"We need him to learn normal humor, should we get Williams again?" Dabria suggested
"Yeah, that was morbid, we need to teach you some common sense" Nova agreed
"Oh come on, that's pretty funny" Perseus replied
"Reminds me of that time I dropped kick a child at the market" Damon laughed "What? He stole my meat skewer, what do you want me to do? Not dropkick the child?"
"Dropkicks would hurt less than tasers, not gonna lie with you" Perseus responded "But then again I mostly stole from the butcher shops, more variety there"
"No wonder he's Perseus' familiar," Dabria sighs "They both got twisted sense of humor. Diana is the most normal one"
"Thank you" Diana replied
"But it did happen though" Damon said
"Which sometimes make me wonder on why you're the older one" Diana sighs

The quarter finals for the tournament is about to start the day after, so Perseus is in his room resting due to the harsh training he endured the past few days.
There was then a knock on the Silver's door.
"Coming!" Olivia shouted
When Olivia opened the door, she sees a familiar teenager that she could've sworn she's seen before. The visitor was wearing simple clothing with leather armor on with a sword strapped to her waist
"Oh and you are?" Olivia asked
"Right, I forgot to introduce myself, I was the one fighting against Perseus in the finals" the girl greeted "I went by the nickname, water princess."
"Oh right" Olivia realized "Are you here for Perseus by any chance?"
"Yes, I would like to meet him if that's fine with you"
"Come in, I'll go get Perseus, he was training all day long so he might be a bit groggy" Olivia invited her in
"Are you his mother?"
"No, I'm his aunt" Olivia replied "I'll get you some tea and snacks"

Perseus then heard knocking on his door and Olivia then poked her head in
"What do you need?" Perseus asked
"Perseus, a visitor have arrived for you" Olivia answered
"For me? I don't know anyone apart from you guys" Perseus got a questioning look
"Your girlfriend is waiting for you downstairs"
"Emma isn't my girlfriend and I'm too young to date anyone"
"It's not Emma, just come down and you'll see" Olivia said before she left
"Who would visit you? What if one of the people you stole from recognizes you and come back for revenge?" Ace guessed
"The chances are pretty slim, John took care of all that" Siege responded "Maybe it's that one girl, water princess"
"Ah, I did promise to get some food before we got attacked" Perseus remembered "Let me wash my face a bit, I don't want to look like a corpse"
