"A girl going out of his way to meet him Now that's a first" Elliot commented
"What if she's one of those predator?" Dabria hypothesize "She's using that good looks she have to seduce him, I mean she haven't even given us her name"
"You're all starting to think like Perseus now" Mary commented
"Oh gods" Dabria responded "We spend too much time with him"
"You're his sister and his guildmate, that's normal" Nova chuckled "Though I guess, we should start teaching him on how to be more positive, we should do less dangerous missions"
"Well isn't it your fault for picking those missions?" Elliot pointed out "You're the guild master, you're the ones who pick them out"
"As for his pessimism, don't blame Nova, blame society" Siege joined in
"Let's not get philosophical about this, maybe we'll discuss this later" Nova responded
Perseus then came down from his room and entered the living room where water princess was waiting.
"Long time no see" Perseus greeted "But um why are you here today?"
"Did you already forget our promise?" She raised an eyebrow
"Well surely you won't come all the way to my house just for that?"
"Of course not, I'm just interested in the boy who beat me despite being like 5 years younger than me"
"Is that it?" Perseus asked curiously
"No, since you've beaten me, I have a request to make today" she then placed down her cup of tea "But first, I'll introduce myself, my name is Cordelia Laguna"
"Well my name is Perseus Silver, but I'm pretty sure you know that already" Perseus replied
"Is she lying?" Elliot asked as he and the rest were spying on Perseus and Cordelia's interaction
"No" Ace and Siege replied
"Cordelia Laguna, I've never heard of that name before" Nova pondered aloud
"I would like to join your guild" Cordelia requested
"Um what?" Perseus looks bewildered
"You heard me, I would like to join your guild"
"Um so you're currently not in one?"
"Of course not, I just left my kingdom and wandered in Artia, and I heard about the tournament, so I joined to test myself" Cordelia answered "And I lost to you, so in my journey to becoming independent, I thought that I should join a group of experienced adventurers, and your small guild looks fun. Though I dislike the name"
"Which kingdom did you come from?" Perseus asked
"Neelofar" Cordelia answered
"Where?"
"Oh right, it's not that well know up here" Cordelia commented
"Up here? Well I can't make all the decisions, so I'll just call in the others, cuz I alone can't decide whether we let you in" Perseus replied "Guys, stop hiding behind that wall and come help me please"
The Silvers then walked into the living room and took their seat.
"Neelofar? Where is that?" Nova asked "I've studied all the maps, and I've never heard of Neelofar before, and from what the 2 spirit beasts said, you aren't lying either"
"Do you have a map with you?" Cordelia asked
"Yeah" Nova then took it out and spread it out on the table
Cordelia then pointed to a sea to the far east of Artia.
"That's water?" Nova looked perplexed as the rest
"Yes, our kingdom is underwater" Cordelia answered
"Well you guys handle that, cuz I'm even more clueless than you guys" Perseus backed out
"Well we also needs Emma's side on this" Dabria said "I can give her a call now, but it might take a while, since after all our guild was supposed just 7 of us, including the 2 spirit beasts. 10 if you count the 3 familiars. We never thought about someone joining us"
"I don't mind waiting for your decision." Cordelia responded "I also have a familiar, though I don't use him often, and when I saw Perseus' familiars, getting him out would be the last thing I want to do"
"Well I'll go call her then, though I'm sure she won't mind since we'll have another girl with us" Dabria got up and left
"So about what you mentioned earlier, you want to be independent? Would you mind explaining more?" Elliot asked
"See, I grew up quite spoiled and I always wanted to go on adventures and explore the world, so I left Neelofar for this purpose, I want to travel with friends and things like that, but my actual friends have different goals than mine, so I journeyed alone and found you guys" Cordelia answered "Your guild is small and full of potential, it'll be a great opportunity for me"
"Her intentions are pure" Ace commented
"Don't steal my job, Ace" Siege scolded "But he's right, she has no intention of harming us"
"Emma said she's fine with it if the rest of us are" Dabria came back in the room
"So have you registered as an adventurer yet?" Nova asked
"You have to register for that?" Cordelia asked
"Yeah, how did you even get in?" Perseus asked
"I showed them my Neelofar identification card, though most of them gives me strange looks" Cordelia took out her id card from her ring for them to see
"Is this gold? Are you a daughter of some rich merchant?" Elliot asked
"Close enough yes" Cordelia nodded
"Well we'll have to vote on it, Emma agrees on it, so currently is there anyone here who opposes it?" Nova asked but no one replied "Well welcome to the Ominous Scourges, Cordelia Laguna"
"I still despise the name" Cordelia shook his hand
"Us too" Nova sighs "But let's get you registered as an adventurer first, but you'll have to start from tier 1 like the rest of us. Where are you staying at currently?"
"In a nearby inn" Cordelia answered
"Good, come back here on the tournament day, I'll help you register and then we'll go spectate Perseus' match afterwards"
