Part Twenty Six
I just came home after I was engrossed in playing in the Time Zone with my friend and that girl friend, I didn't think that the two of them had been dating since class XI
Arriving at home I went into the house and looked for my papa, I was surprised to see my papa lying on the floor, I tried to wake my papa
"pa, wake up pa" I tried to wake my papa but my papa didn't wake up too, I took my unconscious papa to his room and laid him on the bed.
I then took the balm and I rubbed it on my papa's head, neck and nose, not long after that my papa woke up from his stupor
"what's wrong daddy, why can papa faint" I'm worried
"your father Adit your father died" my papa mourned
"what papa, say, daddy died" i can't believe it
"Yes son, your father died in an accident" my papa sobbed I was shocked, I felt like I was experiencing deja vu, for the second time I lost my family.
My body felt weak I then knelt on the floor with both arms holding the edge of the bed a few hours later after I recovered from my state, I decided to call the girl
"Yeah hello" the girl said on the phone
"Bella, this is Adit" I called
"Yeah, what's wrong Adit?" the girl asked
"Bella's father, our father..." my voice was cut off
"Why our father" the girl is curious
"Our father died" I cried on the phone
"no no you must be kidding" the girl doubted
"It's impossible for dad to leave" the girl couldn't believe it
"If you don't believe you can come to Setia Budi hospital, my dad and I are on our way there" I was annoyed
After a few hours of traveling, my father and I finally arrived at Setia Budi Hospital.
Now we are in the hospital
"excuse me sir" I said
"Well, is there anything I can help you with?" asked the nurse
"Is there really an accident victim who was brought here, his name is Arthur" I said
"Yeah right, recently a patient was brought here" The nurse confirmed
"Sorry, what's the family?" asked the nurse again
"Yes I am Aditya his son and this is my father Arlan his husband" I said introducing
"Could you show me your ID card?" said the nurse
"Oh yeah" then I took my ID card from my wallet and gave it to the nurse
"Okay wait a minute" the nurse said goodbye not long after that the nurse came with an officer
"Are you Arthur's family?" said the officer
"Yeah I'm his son and this is my papa" I introduced myself again
"Then you can come with me," the guard invited them
"sir, this is your ID card" the nurse gave the ID card to me
"thank you" i said
Then my papa and I followed the officer to a room when they arrived in the room there was already a doctor waiting for them
"knock, knock" the officer knocked on the door in the room
"yeah come in" a voice from inside
"Wait a minute" the officer ordered me and my papa
The officer entered the room and closed the door.
Meanwhile my dad and I waited outside.
Soon the door opened and the officer came out of the room
"Please come in" said the officer then my father and I entered the room, after being inside the officer closed the door from the outside.
My father and I looked for a while then looked back at the person in front of us
"Please have a seat," said the doctor me and my papa sat on the chairs that had been provided
"Father Arthur's family" said the doctor
"Yes, I am Adit's son and this is my father, Arlan, his husband" again I introduced myself
"I'm sorry, Doctor Luke, who was treating Arthur at that time," the doctor reminded
"Doctor Lukas, the doctor at Bintang Mulia Hospital, right?" my papa remembers
"Yeah right" the doctor confirmed
"Doc, is it true that my husband died in an accident?" asked my father
"Yes, that's right, he died at the scene while hugging and embracing a small child," said the doctor
"little boy" my papa and I said at the same time we both look at each other
"Ade" I whispered
"Doc, is that kid's name Adelin?" I asked
"I'm sorry I don't know his name because the child doesn't have an identity card" the doctor didn't know
"can I see the child doc" I ask permission
"Sorry, we can't allow other people to visit him yet" the doctor forbade
"Then can we see Arthur's body?" This time my papa asked for permission
"Yes, you can see he has a morgue as well as I want to ask permission from you as his family to autopsy Mr Arthur" the doctor asked for permission
My dad and I looked at each other asking for an answer
"Pa, is it better for your husband to have an autopsy?" ask me
"Son, it's better for your father not to have an autopsy, papa can't stand to see your father being tortured again even though he's dead" my father couldn't bear it
"Sorry, our doctor doesn't allow Arthur for an autopsy" my papa is sure
"mmm... well if that's your family's decision, I appreciate it" said the doctor
"This is a form that you can fill out later and after filling it please return it to me" the doctor gave the form to me
"Then Mr. Adit and Mr. Arlan can come with me to the morgue now" let the doctor
My father and I followed the doctor to the morgue when they got there, they saw a bed covered with a white cloth, the doctor then opened the cloth cover.
Me and my papa saw what was behind the cloth we were shocked
"Mas Arthur" my papa sobbed
"dad" i whispered
"Mas wake up, mas wake up, this is your husband, mas" my papa tried to wake his husband but it didn't work
"Pa, don't disturb, daddy is sleeping" I said
after my father and I returned the form we had filled out to the doctor, we went to the administration department to complete my stepfather's files and paid the admin fee so that my stepfather's body could be brought back to our house
