"So, since you're a new character, you get to shine in one or two chapters."

"What?"

"Nothing. Um, me and Woo Young are gonna go for our competition this whole day so it's only you four introverts eating lunch today."

Edward realises this and froze. Yes, it is a bad thing. Woo Young would bring him and Hana to talk while Han would talk with Louis, Hana and Klein. If those two aren't around, the atmosphere at lunch time would be awkward. He tried to ask them to stay but they're already leaving his class.

His classmates are already used to those two chaotic children visiting him so they don't really mind whatever they talked about. When it was lunch time, he checked out the rooftop and saw Louis, Hana and Klein already starting eating. If only he wasn't attached with his juniors, he would skip lunch like before.

"Ah he's here." Louis said after he saw Edward peeking on them.

Edward flinched after being discovered but he sat down next to Hana and Klein right after Louis signed him to sit with them. Klein stares at his phone waiting for a text from Han but Han is probably too focused on his competition to answer.

Klein: How do you even start a conversation with them?

Klein pout and look up. He saw his friends stare at him who's pouting. Ah, they know he's not comfortable. Klein remembers something and decides to give it a shot. Well, to lighten up the mood, why not ask some questions about the holidays?

"I heard you two work together this holiday."

"Ah, yes! Edward is really helpful! I am grateful that he gave me a hand!"

"I didn't help you! I'm just trying to make your job easier!"

'Who are you trying to fool?' Louis, Hana and Klein just sweatdrop at his statement.

Hana even told them that Edward was so shy when talking with the manager. Louis was smiling a little when he saw Edward blushing after Hana gave him some more compliment. Klein and him glance before starts whispering, leaving Hana and Edward confused.

"You two actually look cute together-"

"I will beat your a*s if you said that again."

Klein and Louis move away a little which angers Edward more. He pulled their collar so that they sat closer like earlier. They really had the time to mess around with him. Hana just chuckled while feeling embarrassed.

Fast forward to after school, they decide to walk home together because…Han had warned them about Klein being distracted sometimes when walking home which makes him arrive late to home. They had to make sure he reached his house early and not wander around.

But then, while walking, they're surrounded by big guys with weapons in their hands. Ah, delinquents from another school. The three normal students look at Edward and he signs them to run. Louis and Hana nodded and ran while Klein drop his school bag down.

"Hah, I thought your minions were gonna leave you but you got one with balls her- What the f*ck…"

The delinquents including Edward saw Klein going through his bag and pulled out a notebook. Then, he makes himself stands few feet away from the scene before giving them a thumbs up as if they were waiting for his approval before fighting.

"What the heck, man. Your minions are cowards and creppy."

"They're not my minions. And why are you here again?"

"To fight you, of course! Didn't you get our letter?!"

"Ah no. I never got your letter."

Klein who's listening and watching from far, writing down everything that he can catch.

'Not only the delinquents ask to fight but they also write a letter to ask their rival to fight! As if it was a letter you wrote to your crush to ask them out.'

They don't know why but the more they see Klein writing down, the more they feel weird out. They even leave with Edward following them from behind. He just…doesn't want people around the area to know that the creep is his friend.

Klein, who saw them leaving, kept his notebook and looked for his other two friends. Seems like they run too far and perhaps they end up going home using the other route. Klein uses this chance to find a restaurant and order some noodles. His order was fast and he started eating silently.

"Thank you…. Um, may god bless me with more free noodles and also some peaceful life in the next few years."( - . -)

He is so weird to the point that he is more likely to pray for something else rather than pray to thank for the food. His mother did ask if he wanted a takeout because she's working overtime again but he already told her about his situation.

He feels blessed when he starts chewing his food. When he's done, Han finally text him and for him, he's rather surprised to find out that the competition Han and Woo Young joined was actually some kind of invention contest.

"They actually have talent other than being loud."

He went back home and started writing a new chapter between the delinquent character and one of the main character's friends. He thought a lot while writing and ends up imagining those two character are like his two friends, Edward and Hana.

"How do I make it sound like a wholesome relationship…

I am too single to write romance."

He starts writing anyway and with some of the events he learns from Hana's novel, he finally creates a good chapter about the two characters. With that, he share the new chapter with Han and Han had to give him a better way to make the character looks like a couple and not some contracted couple.

'If writing about characters who are not single this hard…imagine having a love partner in real life…

Pain.'
