As a young woman Adair Fox enters the civilization test, the most difficult test in the entirety of the Galactic Empire, in hopes of achieving that highest of honors and finally becoming eligible to meet her parents. During the test Adair acts out of desperation and uses a dangerous ritual to save her people, only to get betrayed by them shortly after. Unfortunately not only does Adair fail the test, but she also finds herself trapped in a void for thousands of years until she eventually meets up with another being. She makes a deal with the Reincarnation Machine, which allows her to go back in time and become a sorceress.

The Forgotten Ability

After a bit of looking around, she saw Cassandra start walking towards the pyramid, and she had no reason not to follow her, so she followed Cassandra towards the pyramid. As they got closer, she expected something to happen, but nothing did, and the giant doors just opened as they approached, which was just like what happened with the other pyramid but with a few steps cut out. 


As they entered the pyramid, nothing was the same as the other pyramid. There were no alternating paths, no mysticalness to it. Everything seemed plain and ordinary. She also got the feeling that something was missing as they went down the single hallway deeper into the pyramid.
