As a young woman Adair Fox enters the civilization test, the most difficult test in the entirety of the Galactic Empire, in hopes of achieving that highest of honors and finally becoming eligible to meet her parents. During the test Adair acts out of desperation and uses a dangerous ritual to save her people, only to get betrayed by them shortly after. Unfortunately not only does Adair fail the test, but she also finds herself trapped in a void for thousands of years until she eventually meets up with another being. She makes a deal with the Reincarnation Machine, which allows her to go back in time and become a sorceress.

The Forgotten Ability

<p>Since she knew that even with the robots being relatively close with only being around 30 feet away, she knew that with the guns and other weapons that they had, she had no chance to get even close to the robots before she was either shot down or stabbed with a sword or sliced in half with an ax or any other amount of things that the robots could do to stop her in her tracks.</p>

<p>She quickly realized, though, that she had no idea how good these robots were at doing their jobs. Were they old and rusty and had terrible aim, or were they state of arc technology that had pin point accuracy. And while she could guess, she learned from what Roxanne said inside the tests and asked if she could see a demonstration of the robot's capabilities in order to determine her best course of action.</p>
