As a young woman Adair Fox enters the civilization test, the most difficult test in the entirety of the Galactic Empire, in hopes of achieving that highest of honors and finally becoming eligible to meet her parents. During the test Adair acts out of desperation and uses a dangerous ritual to save her people, only to get betrayed by them shortly after. Unfortunately not only does Adair fail the test, but she also finds herself trapped in a void for thousands of years until she eventually meets up with another being. She makes a deal with the Reincarnation Machine, which allows her to go back in time and become a sorceress.

The Forgotten Ability

<p>She was unsure how much each meal cost since there were no kiosks to pay for the food, but she really hoped that it was built into what Anahel was paying for or that the food was not expensive since she kept on going back for servings after servings until she was completely stuffed.  </p>

<p>Her first serving was just a generic salad, but she quickly ate the salad and had gone back for seconds, this time grabbing some type of bluefish. She ate this one much more slowly since none of the bones were removed from the fish, and she did not want to eat one of the tiny bones since she figured that while she didn't know, she was pretty sure she could not digest bones.  </p>
