Chapter Six:

The ride to The Moon Temple was fast! Silva was wonderful. His speed was unmatched! I notice as I dismount The Grand Elder waiting at the front gates. He wasn't a very tall man. five-five at most. His hair had grayed with his age. This amethyst eyes bore into me for a moment before smiling gently. His wrinkles were noticeable then against his beige skin tone. He was bald but had a weird go-t thing going on.

"Princess it has been a long time." My heart ached. I hadn't been back since what happened to my parents.

Inhaling a deep breath to steady my uneasy heart a offer him a small smile.

"Grand Elder we are here because it has been reported that someone is kidnapping noble children?" The Grand Elder frowns. But nods.

"Come. Warriors from the Lycan Kingdom are here as well. It will be easier to speak to you all in one place." I nod and wave my hand forward to signal the girl. Selene had brought the twin Gemini and Jade. They were Rebecca's daughters and they abilities worked well together.

I glance back at them. The twins wore frowns. They olive skin tones were flawless and they were both tall and built like literal models. There long black hair was tied up in a high ponytail. Making me smirk slightly. Their hair was incredibly long and they used it as weapons. And I do mean literally.

Their onyx eyes looked at me curiously. I shake my head and turn to follow The Grand Elder inside. The twins were part witch and part Dark Elf. The steps were long but they were nothing compared to Rebecca's training. I laugh softly. The Grand Elder led us to the Main Hall. My eyes found him instantly.

Emerald green orbs dancing up and down frame shamelessly causing me to blush. He was tall a towering six-two. How had I not noticed that last time. His hair is a deep copper color that is cut down on the sides and back. It was slicked back on the top but you could tell that it was longish.

I noticed the short length of his beard that ran down around is jawline and chin. And even on his upper lip.

I felt myself smile alittle as my eyes travel down to his broad shoulders and tight form fitting black v-neck shirt that almost revealed every outline of his chest and abdomen. I clear my throat and quickly shift my eyes to The Grand Elder again.

I stiffen as I could sense Astor coming closer to me. I inhale a deep breath and keep my eyes trained on The Grand Elder.

"It warms my heart seeing two kingdoms uniting to stop whoever is trying to harm innocent children." Selene let's out a clipped sigh. I snap my head in her direction and let out a low warning growl. She lowers her head and stiffens. Disrespect was not tolerated with me.

"It would seem that they are taking noble children because their powers are stronger. But only those with an affinity for one of the elements. They need five from each element. To form their own pentagram. It is a ritual. To bring back Falak." A chill runs down my spine at that name.

"Who is Falak?" I cringe.

"One of the first and the only Dragon-borne to be a male...and what's worse...he was a hybrid. Part dragon part wolf. All rage and madness as the two spirits Inside fought against one another. It drove him mad. There was so many massacres. So much blood that was spilled..." I wrap my arms arounds myself. I knew that Astor was staring at me.

"Yes. But with the help of your ancestors they sealed him away..This ritual will not be easy. They will need blood from both your bloodlines..." Tears burned my eyes.

"That's what they were after that night.." The Grand Elder nods.

"They didn't get what they needed that night because of your mother being pregnant."

****ASTOR'S POINT OF VIEW*******

I watched Freya's body stiffen. Her sadness was coming off her in waves. But she held her head high and tried to keep calm. I ached to reach out and comfort her.

'Help mate! She's hurting!' I wanted to growl at Aro for being so demanding. But again we barely knew her and I doubt she trusted us. So I stayed rooted into place just watching her carefully. Her eyes widen slightly.

"That's why they wanted Luca. Because of him being in the same bloodline as Raedwulf. And I'm the only living descendent tied to Demona." A low growl did escape me then. The rage was real and uncontrollable. Not only was someone trying to hurt my son BUT my mate! My insides twisted. Freya looks up at me with a curious expression and tilts her head slightly at me.

"Correct. They knew that that couldn't get to King there for they went after his son. But they would have been watching the both of you." I could hear Freya's heart skip a beat and she turns away from me.

"Someone isn't completely on their side..I was in the woods when they tried to take Luca. But someone shot an arrow at me..I thought it was a taunt. But now..I think it was to keep me away from what was happening..and even Rose getting away with him." The Grand Elder looked surprised for a moment before collecting himself.

"If that is true then you should thank the goddess that you are both safe." Someone wasn't completely on their side? Or someone who wanted us to trust them enough that they could get close and take both of them at the same time and take all the credit.

'Mate Is not safe here! They will come after her.'

"Then the princess is not safe here." Freya snorts which causes me to look down at her. She just stared at me a moment before flames erupted around her in a small circle

but they also danced across the bare skin and intertwined through her hair.

She was absolutely stunning and deadly all in one. I couldn't help but smirk down at her.

"I think the King is gravely mistaken." In an instant the flames were gone and there wasn't a single burn mark on her or her clothing.

"Freya. I would like to speak to you in private child." Freya looks toward The Grand Elder and smiles gently. As if she didn't just have her powers on display for everyone. She bows her head to him. She takes a step forward and turns toward the women that had come in with her.

"Search the surrounding area. Anyone who seems out of place or you smell sulfur...kill it." Her eyes had harden and her voice seemed to have a strange echo to it. That's when I noticed the silver color of her eyes. Her dragon was pushing forward.
