Pick Up Alvira

El rode his motorbike followed by Mario and Reza who did the same with him.

"Can we stop by our original destination, El?"

Without answering Mario's question, he immediately started his motorbike. As if they had understood El's actions, the two of them immediately followed the man's motorbike from behind without the slightest preamble.

They did plan to stop by a coffee shop that was specially designed according to the design that El wanted. Ah yes, the owner of the shop is El's Uncle so he can freely design this cafe with El's request.

The distance from Adalard High School to Del'i Coffee shop only takes about 10 minutes, not far and not too close, the standard distance, especially for motorbike users. After arriving there, they immediately booked a place that is often occupied. And once again, that place was only reserved for El and his friends --like their special place-- who was in the corner of the room. Cool? no, this feels normal to El.

"Where's my uncle, Rehan?" El asked one of the waiters who had considered himself a trusted person who had helped a lot to run this shop, making his sales slowly increase.

Rehan Erlangga, a boy with a rather thin body but quite handsome, who is 5 years older than El begins to focus his attention. "As usual, the boss is out of the cafe because he is shopping with his wife," he said with a chuckle as if he was used to this.

El just smiled a little, nodding his head. "Order the coffee I usually order, Han," he said, then turned to his two friends. "What do you two want to drink?"

Mario leaned back on the soft sofa that was now touching the surface of his back as if to say that he couldn't get up from there. "Give me the best coffee blend, Han. Remember, don't be too sweet because I'm already sweet, you need to take note of that," he said in an annoying tone but of course, it was made up now that he was holding back a silly smile.

"In your dreams," El said as he removed the bag from his back, then he did the same as Mario, leaning back on the sofa. Geez, after almost half a day he had spent at school, he could finally feel this soft sofa again.

"You're mean, El, I'm so cute, especially when there are so many girls clinging to me," Mario answered.

El glanced at his best friend, then gave a small snort. "Wake up, it's late not night anymore," he said in an even tone.

Hearing Mario's words will never end. "As for me, I want a coffee that tastes sweet like him who I love so much but prefers to leave for no apparent reason," said Reza who turned out to have eleven twelve brains with Mario, now they are two people who have no difference. They are both troublemakers, love to spread charm, but until now have not had a girlfriend.

El raised an eyebrow, while Mario and Rehan held back their laughter trying not to let go so as not to disturb the other diners.

"Why are you a slave to love like that? Got a false hope giver from a girl? Too bad the handsome ones don't sell, too much wasted by the girls." Mario said in a mocking tone. He took a deep breath so as not to continue laughing out loud, he might get kicked out of the tavern by El.

Reza looked at Mario and Rehan alternately annoyed, he felt humiliated by his two friends. "I'd rather sulk than be insulted here with you, I'm lazy."

Rehan ends his laugh, very amused. "Well, what do you want to order, Reza?" he asked trying to neutralize the look on his face that was holding back laughter.

"Just like El, I'm really curious what he's been drinking all this time."

Rehan nodded and then left the three of them to deliver the order.

"You are a very curious man," El said briefly, he was now looking at the magazines provided on each table, showing Alvira's photo on the cover. Ah, he forgot to say that if his sister has officially become a teen model in a well-known magazine in Indonesia, he is indeed a little sister who deserves to be proud.

"Alvira is so beautiful, I can be her boyfriend, can I?" Reza asked while crossing his legs.

In that instant, El immediately glared at Reza. "Are you crazy? Of course, you can't."

Mario patted Reza's shoulder with a worried expression on his face. "Patience, I know you are steadfast in facing all this because you can't have a relationship with an angel-like Alvira because you look like a slob, that's why El doesn't agree," he said in a low tone like imitating a style like he was calming someone down.

"Stay away from me, you smell like a garbage dump," said Reza while waving his hands in front of his face, as if Mario smelled like a garbage dump. Even if it wasn't, it was just a ploy to get this guy to stop acting annoying in public. He was just afraid that if Mario made a mistake, they would both humiliate El at his Uncle's coffee shop.

El looked at the two of them with a very flat gaze, gosh it's true, Mario and Reza always have topics of conversation that never have an end. Even from the question concerned or not, everything is discussed without a bright spot.

(phone vibration)

El looked away, looked at his cellphone screen which now displayed the username 'Alvira' and a small smile appeared on his face.

"Hello," said El as a greeting.

"Hello, Bara? Can you pick me up? My car broke down, I couldn't go home. Mom and dad's phone number is not active, I called Ujang to pick me up but he said he was at the car service." Alvira's voice was very cheerful from the other side.

Ujang is the Adalard family's driver employed by Alvira and El's father.

"Send your location," El replied.

"Still in front of the school... but the situation is quiet, no one is waiting for an invite other than me." Alvira's signature smirk was heard and then turned into a voice with a light tone.

"Why didn't you come home earlier?"

"Oh come on it's Tuesday, I finished my dance extracurricular practice, did you forget?"

"Hmm."

"Take it? Please hurry to pick me up at school because it's getting late, and of course, I'm afraid to be alone. Be careful on the road, I love you, my brother."

El turned off the phone without replying to Alvira's words, then began to put his cell phone back in his pants pocket. "I'll go to Alvira to school." He took his black bag and put it back on.

Mario and Reza just nodded, after all, they knew where El went at this time. They never questioned the nature of a man who was too cold even to his own best friend. Because a person's nature is not easy to change, especially from inside El's heart there is no intention to change.

After leaving the shop and being in the parking lot, El immediately rode his motorbike without further ado. He covered the helmet with his left hand, then rode his motorbike swiftly. He never left Alvira alone without anyone's supervision. To him, Alvira was everything.

It didn't take long, El had now arrived at the gates of Adalard High School. He started to look around to find the person who just a few minutes ago called him.

Until his eyes saw Alvira talking with a girl, he of course knew. Immediately, he rode his motorbike towards the school stop and stopped right in front of the two sitting girls.

"Get up," El said to Alvira when his motorbike had stopped.

"Why did you get here so fast? I still want to talk to Nusa." Alvira said with a crooked smile. Look, even though she told El to pick her up quickly because she was afraid the neighborhood around the school would be deserted.

"Come on, get on my motorbike."

Alvira sighed. "Nusa, later when we meet, we'll talk again. I've been picked up, bye!" She said while waving her hand towards Nusa who was now looking curiously at the man riding the motorbike.

"Be careful, Ra," said Nusa as she waved her hand too, a sweet smile etched on her face.

With a sweet smile, Alvira, who was already riding on El's motorbike, immediately hugged her sister's bag as a handrail. "Let's go, boss!"

El immediately brushed Alvira's hand gently, then changed the position of her bag so that it was slung over his chest. "To safely reach the destination," he said in a flat tone.

Alvira chuckled. "Huh looking for a chance!"

After that, El immediately started his motorbike without looking at Nusa who had a million questions in his mind.

Returning to El, he glanced at Alvira who was already leaning her head on his back. "Stop by Uncle's coffee shop, okay?"

"There must be Mario and Reza there, right?"

El just nodded even though he was sure Alvira wouldn't be able to see him.

"Then let's take me there, I haven't had coffee there in a long time," Alvira said as she straightened her body. "The interior is still the same as the last time I visited? Or is it more Instagramable now? Ah, until there, I have to take lots of photos and you have to help me! Dots don't use commas!"

El just nodded briefly, that was all he could do to please his sister.

See? Comparison is very much different. It can be interpreted as heaven and earth.

"El, you know Nusa?"

"Yes."

"Oh, I thought if you two didn't know each other."

"Why?"

"It's okay, I didn't tell her that you are my real brother."

"Good."

Alvira raised an eyebrow, just wanted to ask El a 'nice' thing, suddenly felt a vibration from her cell phone in her pocket, of course, it caught her attention. She immediately picked up the phone.

"Hello, Alvira."

"Mom? Why, Mom? Do you miss me? Just say yes!" Alvira said with a small chuckle, screaming on the motorbike was the most fun because her voice was muffled by the wind.

El glanced at the rearview mirror on his right which he deliberately pointed backward, right at Alvira's face.

"I missed you, where were you? Sorry I couldn't have picked up your phone earlier."

"It's okay Mom, I've been with Bara. You work for us, so I can be branded a big boss like Bara."

"You can do it. Be careful on the road, okay? Tell Bara to look after Mommy's little daughter."

"Ready to do it, ma'am!"

"You'd better go straight home. I brought you lots of food. I love you both."

"Yes! Love you too, Mom!"

Alvira put her cell phone back in her pocket, then conveyed what Mommy had said. "Bara, Mom said we should just go home," she said excitedly, excitedly imagining the food her parents were referring to.

"Hmm."
