Her prayer

I swallowed hard, trying to digest the information bit by bit. An alpha wolf? I looked up at him, and he seemed to be studying me through his lashes, thick, llng and dark. I looked away.

"You're human", I said.

"I am wolf," he replied, and I didn't have enough time to talk before the next scene unfolded before us. It was a grand hall, one that was decorated with gems and flowers. No doubt this was the wedding venue. I saw the bride standing, her hand trembling as she struggled to hold the bouquet, the entire place silent. She was wearing a beautiful pale blue gown as opposed to the white I was used to brides wearing. But you could tell she was the bride. No one else looked half as beautiful. Her tiara sat on her hair elegantly, the stones in it catching the light and dispersing it through the hall.
