"Audrey." Kyran whispered harshly behind me, but I think he didn't try to stop me because of the people around. I was literally addressing his entire pack.

"Kyran." I held his face in my hands and I could feel his heat on my palms. His breathing was ragged, a little hard, and I smiled at him. "I am not trying to prove anything to you. I just don't want to run away from the things I have to do for you. I knew this wouldn't be an easy path, but I took it willingly. I should do that much for you at least. Please."
