WHY IS MISS ALEETA LIKE THAT?

Dimas was quite surprised to hear Rendra's statement. What a brave man. If that was the case, their charade might not last long and he didn't like that.

Similar to Dimas, Aleeta was quite surprised. Isn't Rendra's words enough to prove his sincerity?

"Who said she didn't have a ring?" challenged Dimas. "She's just not used to wearing it. So, Aleeta took it off because she was doing something."

Even though Dimas gave an unreasonable reason. Still he hoped the man in front of him believed.

Rendra stared intently at Dimas' hands which were casually embracing Aleeta's shoulders.

He moved the chair he was sitting in and brought it right next to the woman. Then, Rendra quickly let go of Dimas's arms on Aleeta's shoulders.

"Sorry, there was dirt earlier," said Rendra, chuckling without feeling guilty after forcibly removing Dimas's fingers one by one.

"Ryan ... Dimas and I are really engaged. My family really hopes that Dimas will be my life partner in the future." Aleeta did give a reason, but really hoped that the man would not give up so easily to get her.

Of course Aleeta's statement made Dimas develop a big, triumphant smile. The man glanced at Rendra as if he was mocking.

"Is that so?" asked Rendra as he glared at Dimas who was smiling. "Then take me to meet your family, Aleeta," said Rendra confidently. He firmly believed that he had better qualifications to become a future son-in-law than the man before her.l

"Ryan ...." Suddenly Aleeta turned to the man who was now sitting on the other side next to her. Staring at Rendra's brown beads, he looked for answers to the seriousness of the man.

"I'm serious, Aleeta. Very serious. Take me to your family." Rendra repeated the sentence. "It's possible that your family will change their minds after meeting me. I'm a thousand percent sure, they will reconsider their wish to have him as their son-in-law." Rendra continued his sentence confidently while settling lightly towards Dimas of course.

"You've gone mad, Mr. Ryan." Dimas denied Rendra's words with anger. He thought Aleeta's job would be easy, considering her opponent was a playboy.

Yes, hearsay does mention that Rendra is a player. No woman has dated him for a long time. Until Dimas thought that the man was just curious about Aleeta and would back off after finding out that the woman had him as a fiancé.

"Yeah. I can go crazy when it comes to Aleeta." Rendra put emphasis on his sentence. Dimas will never know how crazy he is if he loses Aleeta.

Rendra's eyes met with Aleeta's beautiful beads. For a moment their gazes met each other and again gave Aleeta a strange vibration in her heart.

That gaze was a defiant look that Rendra showed for Aleeta, but it was also able to warm the woman's heart. They seemed to forget that Dimas was there.

"Ehem ...." Dimas' sigh managed to make Aleeta break eye contact with Rendra.

"Have you forgotten the whereabouts of your fiancé, dear?" Dimas smiled at Aleeta. The man rested his chin on one hand.

"Proven isn't it? That I can turn Aleeta away in a matter of minutes." The answer came from Rendra who was smiling triumphantly.

"Ah, never mind. I'd better go home. You guys are just giving me a headache." Aleeta moved to leave the two men because she felt that the debate between them would not end easily.

"I'll take you." The two men in unison said the same sentence and grabbed Aleeta's arms in their hands.

Aleeta looked at her arms. The woman snorted harshly. "I can go home alone." He forcibly released his hand, then walked out of the restaurant.

He had only walked a few steps, Aleeta stopped his steps and turned around. "Don't come after me. Or I won't talk to you guys anymore." Aleeta glared at the two men.

With annoyed steps, Aleeta immediately left the restaurant.

"It's all because of you, Mr. Ryan. My lunch with my fiancé is a mess." Dimas looked annoyed at Rendra.

However, Rendra actually smirked at Dimas' words. "It seems that your dreams are too high, Mr. Dimas. I am afraid that you will feel deep pain because of your hopes."

Rendra left Dimas just like that. He hastily spurred his pace, hoping he would still have time to catch up with Aleeta. But, alas, the woman has gone.

A tap on his shoulder alerted Rendra who was looking at the back of the car that took Aleeta away.

"I suggest you just give up, Mr. Rendra. Aleeta and I have known each other well for a long time. So is our family. You are just a new person who is just passing through in his life," Dimas warned.

It would have been easy if Rendra had given up immediately at the start, so Dimas didn't have to try too hard to push the man out of Aleeta's life.

Rendra looked back at Dimas without a word. He was not a person who gave up easily, so the wish of the man in front of him would never come true.

"It's impossible for me to give up what I want. So, be prepared, Mr. Dimas." Rendra said confidently.

"Besides, usually someone new is more memorable. The proof is that you two have known each other for a long time, but united only because of your parents' wishes. Isn't that enough to prove that Aleeta only sees you as a friend?" added the man while displaying a smirk on his face.

After blinking his eyes accompanied by a mocking smile, Rendra took a step leaving Dimas who was still staring at him leaving.

Meanwhile Dimas, who looked at Rendra's figure until it disappeared behind his vehicle, could only clench his fists in anger.

"If I can't get Aleeta, you if not Rendra," Dimas muttered with emphasis.

Meanwhile, Aleeta who was on her way back to the office was pensive. Remembering Rendra's words that seemed very brave and serious.

I don't know how the woman's family will react if she takes Rendra as a potential husband. Maybe they will be married soon. Then, they will have a pair of beautiful and handsome daughters and sons.

"Wait, what am I thinking now? I haven't even received a statement of Rendra's feelings. However, now I dare to think about marriage? Stupid, Aleeta," Aleeta muttered, hitting her head a few times for thinking nonsense.

Aleeta covered her face with both hands in shame. It was also seen that the beautiful woman occasionally shook her head in disbelief at her thinking that was too far away.

All of that did not escape the attention of the driver who was watching through the small rearview mirror that was directly above his head.

"Why is Miss Aleeta like that? Could it be ...."
