Now Lan could say it for sure : traveling in this world was a catastrophe. From going on foot to carriages —it was hell ! And the only other alternative was the sword !
At this point, he didn't even wish for a car. Even a bicycle would have been perfect for him.
He walked out of the carriage, feeling so dizzy that he could see those infamous stars floating around his head, like in the cartoons.
He didn't usually have transportation sickness, but he never rode something as bumpy and unstable as a carriage.
He most definitely wasn't ready for a horseback ride.
"Gege, are you all right ?" Liwei asked, concern clear in her voice.
He nodded slowly. "Fine... I'm fine."
"He doesn't look that fine, to me." the coach said from his seat.
Liwei turned to look at him as she nodded. But before she could answer anything, she caught Lan tumbling from the corner of her eyes. She rushed to catch him.
