The captain silently entered to the medical bay, taking extra care to not disturb the two women present in the room. One of them was a blue eyed beauty with sunset blonde hair, wearing what seemed like a combination of a thick ice-blue arctic coat, and an officer's uniform. The back side of it's thin collar was decorated with thick line of fluffy snow white fur, giving the coat a feeling of beauty and exquisity. Her thick, arctic leggings were a perfect fit for her uniform, both in shape and color. Finishing this set was a pair of new combat boots, using the same light-blue thematic as the rest of the clothing. The only exception from this theme was the upside down red triangle on the left side of her coat, depicting a dagger piercing through a square-mesh globe from it's top, an old insignia used back in the empire's conquering days.
Helena Kryolis was the first one noticing the captain in the room, with her tall, elegant build becoming visible as she stood up to greet Natra. Originally in charge of Kreon V's ground forces, she left her stressful position to serve on this ship, with the promise of more laid back position at the end of this expedition.
Seeing the officer's reaction, Erina turned to the door, then slowly stood up from the hospital bed in an attempt greet the seemingly important newcomer. She had a long, dark brown hair with matching eye color. She was around 6'2" in height, with a slightly muscular build suggesting great strength behind her. According to Kryolis, this was because of her mixed human-dwarven heritage.
The captain nodded acknowledging Erina's attempt, then signaled her to sit down on the bed she stood up from. Natra also took his sit on the bed right next to it, then faced the girl, and started talking to him, using knowledge gained from his translator implant.
-Greetings. My name is Natra Din. You might already know my colleague, Helena Kryolis - the one in this room - and Dr. Dezra Ming, who already visited you. I know this situation might be strange but trust me, there is nothing to be afraid of. Personally I like to play with open cards, so I'll be honest with you: we are researchers coming from another dimension. I know it might sound crazy, or insane to you, however you just need to trust us in this matter.
Our purpose is the study, later takeover of this planet. If everything goes right, we can achieve this with peaceful methods. As for you, we do not want any harm befalling on you. You are free to come and go on this ship as you please, however you cannot leave without express permission. Please, do not be mistaken: you are not a prisoner. If you want to go, then tell us. If you want to leave this ship at any point, I believe we can make arrangements to do that. For now, this is the only thing I want to say, however I will gladly answer any question you might have, so feel free to ask.
Since Helena ran her through the basics, it only took a few seconds for the girl to understand what the captain had to say. It seemed that Kryolis managed to gain her trust, as she did not look confused, upset or angry. Instead she showed telltale signs of curiosity and happiness. It wasn't hard to understand the reason behind the latter, as she kept moving her shoulder freely, something that must have caused her a great deal of pain in the past. After this, she looked at Natra, and begin her barrage of questions:
-First, I want to thank you for fixing my shoulder. However, if I understand it right, you are not from this planet, and only came here to occupy it?
-Well technically yes - answered the captain - although for the time being we are only studying it. The plan for occupation still only exists in theory, and will only be realized after we have more information about this place. Still even after we finished here, it should be at least a few years until the start of the real operation. So not an event happening in the near future.
-And until then...?
-Well, we will be mostly occupied with information gathering, or executing any orders that might come. Really, I expect this mostly to be downtime.
-You said earlier that I can leave anytime I want. Why would you do that, since I know your plans?
-Good question. As you said, it would be irresponsible, but using our medical equipment, we could always wipe that part of your memory. After that we drop you off near when we found you, with no one being the wiser.
Erina nodded in acknowledgement, then began thinking. Sensing another question, the captain remained in his position, and after some time the girl proposed something that caught everyone in the room off guard:
-And what if i join to you?
