Fun

For a year, Clair had meticulously trained. She knew that One Piece was a world where you could train non-stop with no regard for limits. Although her fox body continued to stay at the same Physique. Or maybe the fur hid how jacked she had gotten but either way she was happy she did not turn into some steroid-looking fox.

Yuno, her pet tiger had also gained much from Clair's training. Yes, Clair did name her after the crazy girl in that weird anime. It felt like a fitting name for a clingy girl.

Lonely from being left out of training she started to join in on Clairs runs. She tried to follow her in muscle training but ended up just looking a bit silly. It was a nice break from the norm to see a tiger laying down and standing up to imitate Clair doing pushups.

Aside from just training Clair and Yuno had cleared the island of the other giant creatures several times. Working as a team most of the creatures were easy pickings the only challenge was the bear. Not even Yuno could be blasé when facing the beast. It also did not help that the bear was the one who had injured the poor Yuno when Clair found her. The first time they fought all Yuno wanted to do was drag Clair back to the cave. The beast had given her an innate fear of it. Only after they had felled the bastard a few times did she gain her confidence back.

With a year gone by full of training and conquering Clair felt it was time to leave. Getting enough wood together she started a fire that would create a black beacon of smoke that would alert any traveler to her position. To her dismay, every person that noticed the black smoke avoided the island like the plague. Unknown to her but most merchants and local pirates knew what dangers lay on the island.

Still, Clair had non-stop built signal fires every week in the hopes something would show up. She would have built a boat herself if she had not eaten a devil fruit. You would have more trust in your craftsmanship when you could swim.

Left running out of dead trees she could use to start fires she cut down a good amount to dry so she could start again once they dried out. In the meantime, she started to build up a resistance to the ocean. Clair knew it was possible because characters in the One-piece world had done it already. Starting with her tail Clair would dip it in the ocean. Almost immediately she felt the drain the ocean water had on her. She almost thought that would be her last moment alive. The amount of energy it would drain from you was astronomical. Luckily Yuno sensing something wrong had drug her out. Saved from mortal peril Clair spoiled Yuno that whole day. This had some consequences though, every time Clair tried to practice again Yuno saw it as a chance to be spoiled again. But eventually, Clair built up some resistance to the death water.

With two years gone by Clair spotted something she never thought would happen sails headed right her way. To say she had a smile on her face the size of Texas was an understatement.

----------------------------------------------------

Gazing at her work Clair was happy with the results. It would have been horrible if the first people to join her on the island were strong enough to beat her up. 'Hmm some of them passed out. Ew some of them pissed themselves I hate that I can smell that.' Changing back into the man whose identity she had stolen it was time to get off the island. "Now those of you who are awake time to get to work."

"....." The men were in shock. They could only blankly stare at the monster in front of them. This is not something they should have to deal with in the east blue. All of them were hardened criminals who had taken their fair share of lives. This was by far the worst thing they have had to deal with.

Sighing Clair walked up to the nearest guy and gave him a wake-up slap across the face. "Snap out of it man."

*Pa, Crack

"Ewww, that is my bad." Putting more power than she intended into the slap the poor man's head ended up twisted around in an unnatural position. 'I'm a bit stronger than I thought.'

"Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, hic I want my mommy." And just like that most of the men started to cry and beg for their moms. Clair was flabbergasted. 'These are the pirates that I trained so hard for?'

"SHUT UP!" yelling at the men finally they had all quieted down.

"You, come here." pointing at her next victim the man was a mess of tears and snot. Knowing he would die if he did not come he tried to move but his legs felt like they were encased in cement.

"Please don't kill me I have a child, I'll give you all my...Money yes all of it is yours please don't kill me." The man was saying anything he could think of so the monster would spare his life.

"I don't care about that COME HERE." Pointing to the space in front of her Clair was getting fed up with the whole situation.

Trying to move again his legs were not working no matter what he did. "I swear I can't my legs won't move."

licking her lips Clair missed this. "Your arms still work crawl." She started to feel like it was a blessing she came into such a violent world.

Wiping the snot on his shirt he did as she said and pulled himself closer to the monster. Every inch he moved felt like a noose tightening around his neck. Getting to where she directed him he closed his eyes. If he was going to die at least he did not want to see it.

This power over life and death filled Clair's belly with butterflies. It is what made killing so fun. Nothing was more addictive to Clair than when they beg and struggle.

"Good boy, now you and your little crew members will start to collect enough supplies to start sailing again. You will fill the boat to the brim, expect two new very hungry guests. Think of it this way if you don't pack enough for the journey each and every one of you will be considered dinner." of course Clair was going to take Yuno with her. She was her little pet.

"Also don't think you can leave this island without me. I'll give you a little incentive." Picking up a nearby boulder the size of a small car Clair then proceeded to throw it as hard as she could at the ocean.

Not only could the men not believe their eyes when she picked up the rock but the following explosion of water resulting in the throw made them want to cry again. Truly they had no hope.

"Get going." Ushering the men to get working Clair sat down waiting for her new little minions to get the task done. Although it was messy at first she felt that everything was working out fine.
