Chapter 2 Strange World

Days passed and soon things turn into routine.

While most kids spent their free time playing in the park, celebrating with their family, sulking in the orphanage, I'm in the library, grinding knowledge, abusing my photographic memory.

It doesn't matter what subject it is, History, Geography, Arithmetic, Theology, Architecture, Chakra Theory, Biolgy, Technology, Business etc., I memorized it.

Really this world is broken, the existence of chakra mess up things causing a lot of subjects to advance differently from my world.

Take Technology for example.

A lot were similar to year 1940s of my previous world standard (such as short range radio devices, basic combustion engine etc.) while some were even more advanced and futuristic than modern era of my world ( such as Airships, Laboratory Equipments and Machineries etc.), there's also something called Fuintech, a.k.a Fuinjutsu Enhanced Technology, (Similar to chakra armor of Land of Snow) though still in its infancy stage, the subject held a promising potential.

(Note: Fūinjutsu (Sealing Jutsu, literally meaning: Sealing Techniques) are a type of jutsu that seal objects, living beings, chakra, along with a wide variety of other things within another object. Fūinjutsu can also be used to restrict movement or unseal objects either from within something or someone.)

Government and Politics also advanced differently, strangely and somehow stupid in fact.

I mean, This world had superhumans who can weild elements by thier whims, how can they allow an ordinary humans (Daimyo and Nobles) to govern them?

Is the people in this planet were dumb? Shinobi villlage are fighting for resources right? why not kill the Daimyo? Rule the Country, then Boom you have land and Resources.

Shinobi Village can do it, Akatsuki can, But for some fuking reason they don't, why? maybe they are limiting by Culture? or they just dont want more responsibility? being a kage of Shinobi Village is after all tiring who knows how tiring ruling country? Is that it?

Well, I really don't understand.

Maybe I'm looking at the things in a wrong way, maybe there's a larger scheme behind it, who knows?

Another one is Biology.

Because of chakra and Medical Ninjutsu, the world had advanced to this subject to such extent, even surpassing my previous world to the point they can reattached and regenerate limbs, eyes, some figures in the History were even messing with DNAs structures and manage to make a minor breakthrough (not ti mention that I also knew from the series that Orochimaru master it)

Shaking my head, I closed the book as I finished reading it, titled: Ninjutsu Theory, Volume 1 — written by Hiruzen Sarutobi.

Just as its tittle, the book explain how Ninjutsu works, something that the series hadn't tackle.

In some sense, chakra was a bit similar to Nen from HxH except much simpler.

The simple part to perform it required two thing: Image and Intent.

Image to a manifest a 'form' and intent to 'affect' the form.

The difficult part is; balance and execution.

Balance, because Ninjutsu requires the two (Image and Intent) to be One/combine/mix evenly, a simple mishap would make the entire Jutsu to colapse, worse is to had it explode and harm the user, same reason why most genin wasn't allowed to perform Higher rank Jutsu.

Execution, because one requires a standard chakra control and concentration to execute the technique, its also the reason why performing Ninjutsu on battle was the most difficult as ones focus was devided into many factors such as enemy, surroundings, footings etc.

Well, That's the summary.

Majority of its content was logical, but a lot were theoretical and unscientific and by saying unscientific, I mean the so called 'will', 'intent', 'Imagination' and so, as this stuffs was new to me and cannot explain by science yet, at least not now.

Sighing, I placed the book back on the shelves and headed out of the Library, walking around the village i couldn't help but to watch the people, happily minding their own business.

Smiling, I couldn't help but to feel ridiculous humans are.

People with nothing can be the happiest with the simple thing, while those with everything would feel unfairness and loneliness.

Shaking my head, the Sky soon darkened as I reach the orphanage, greeted by the Matron, I ate my fill then headed towards my room.

I then practice my chakra control by sticking leaves on my body, so far I can only stick 5 leaves.

Doing it continuesly I then started to wonder what would I do in the future.

What Path? maybe I should follow my heart? but what did my heart really want?

Shaking my head, I thought the last few weeks since the beginning of the Academy.

Nothing eventual happen so far, except I learn the Era I'm in.

Speaking of Era, It is now year 38 since the establishment of Konoha, 5 years since 1st Shinobi War ended, 2nd Hokage Tobirama died and Hiruzen Sarutobi was elected as the Third Hokage

The legendary geniuses Jiraya, Tsunade and Orochimaru also graduated at the same year and at the age of 6, became Hiruzen's apprentice.

"Really, what a broken world" I muttered as I feel the last ounce of chakra leaving me and feel asleep.
