Assassins vs Monster part 1

The army of Rufus was marching south. The cavalry rode on the sides so they could intercept and warn the main army in case of an ambush. Rufus was riding on a prestigious black yak at the center of the large column of grey skin warriors.

Dorothy and many of his assassins had sneaked past the cavalry. They had taken a spot on a small ledge where they had a good view of the road where Rufus was supposed to pass by.

"Do we have the weapon?" Dorothy asked one of her assassins.

One of the assassins opened a wooden briefcase. Inside there was a long rifle with a long scope. A very high-class rifle that was extremely expensive and hard to make. It was black and had the Dokkaebi world's seal on it. The seal was an indication of high-quality industry product and all mechanical tools that had it were priced tools and machines.

"You sure you can make the shot from here?" Dorothy asked her assassin.

"I killed more people with this from further away. We won't have problems," the assassin said.

"Good. I would personally have taken care of him myself, but he is at the center of an entire army. Would be impossible even for me."

"Too bad. Now only I can get the pleasure of taking down the legendary Rufus."

"Just concentrate on your target," Dorothy said and kicked her assassin.

The assassin started to lie down on the ground on his stomach. He spread his legs so he would be more symmetrical with the gun and be able to absorb the recoil so it wouldn't affect the sight much if he missed.

They could start to see the army from the ledge. They were about three hundred meters away from it so the shot was not hard to take. Dorothy looked in excitement.

Soon they saw Rufus passing with his entourage at the center of the column. Dorothy's eyes sparkled with excitement.

"Finally. Two times you have fucked with me. It ends here," Dorothy thought to herself with a scary-looking glare.

The assassin took aim at Rufus. He was starting to pull down the trigger slowly. He then stopped when he felt a drop fall on his back.

"Is it starting to rain?" the assassin asked.

"Rain. What are you talking about? There is no cloud in sigh..." Dorothy said and looked back.

Gwon was behind them in his Seng form. An assassin was in his mouth dripping blood all over the assassin with the rifle.

It then stomped on the assassin who was about to shoot Rufus. The assassin missed Rufus by far and the shot alerted the cavalry and other soldiers. Gwon then with his claws ripped the assassin from its back killing him fast.

Dorothy turned her limbs into weapons. She jumped away to get distance on Gwon, but he just pursued her.

"What the hell is that?" cursed Dorothy.

Gwon went to attack Dorothy. Dorothy was able to dodge, but it was not easy. When Dorothy tried to kill the beast herself Gwon again dodged by hopping through the air.

Dorothy was looking down at the army and saw that her chance to kill Rufus was slipping away. She tried to kill Gwon as fast as possible, but with no luck. Gwon was even faster than Dorothy and was able to catch Dorothy by her leg. The leg was unhurt, but Gwon threw her against a tree.

Dorothy started to run away realizing she was outclassed by this unknown beast. She thought she had the worst luck to be surprised by such a beast out of nowhere. As she was running away she saw all the other bodies of her assassin littered in the forest. Their limbs had been a bit off or their necks had been ripped open. Gwon had dealt with all the assassins before he dealt with Dorothy and the sniper and he had done all that without making a sound.

This was not an uncommon situation for Gwon. For years he had been hunting in the forest of the grey scale mountains. Gwon was unparalleled when it came to hunting down enemies in a forest.

Dorothy realized she was in trouble. She started to hear cavalry coming to their location.

"Over here," yelled a human soldier.

Dorothy started to hear the hooves of horses getting closer. She was in a bad situation again. She knew that the mission had failed.

Dorothy tried to escape, but Gwon gave chase at her. Dorothy jumped from a tree branch to a tree branch trying to get away from Gwon but he just jumped himself into the air many times almost catching her. It looked like a cat being chased down by a lion.

She looked down and saw the cavalry that was supposed to guard the main army against an ambush had given chase to her. They were following them while Dorothy and Gwon jumped in the air from branch to branch.

Dorothy got out of the forest. She killed one of the cavalrymen and took his horse. She started to ride off trying to escape with her life but stopped when opportunity knocked on the door. She looked in front of her. It was the center column of the army with many soldiers and grey skin warriors staring back at her. At the center of it was Rufus.

Dorothy then smiled. She knew attacking him was extremely dangerous and almost suicidal, but she threw all reasoning away.

"Look at that. The little good kid decided to come here to die out of his own free will," Dorothy said and went to attack Rufus.

Rufus then released a lot of divine aura. Dorothy stopped her attack. She looked in fear at Rufus. The divine aura was bigger than what even the duke had. For Dorothy, it felt like she was staring at destruction itself.

"What the hell is this. My target is right there, but something is telling me if I try to kill him I die. What is this," Dorothy thought to herself with a cold sweat falling down her face.

Rufus seemed like an impassable mountain.

Edward then came and attacked Dorothy. He tried to kill her with his sword in full swing. Dorothy snapped from her daze and was able to block it by turning her hands into shields. Edward though hit her so hard she flew far away from them.

"Who was that?" Rufus asked Doreen.

"Huh, I didn't see anything. I was behind your black yak all this time," Doreen answered back
