Perizad, the immortal of a ten thousand warriors

"What is that?" Amala asked, staring in awe at the flying fortress.

"It's the flying citadel, an ark of the gods," Satifa replied, a hint of reverence in her voice.

The citadel descended and opened, revealing a group of powerful warriors, each wielding divine weapons and armor. Every single warrior was a sassan, with an identical face and body structure. As if they were clones.

They jumped out and surrounded the zealots as they were by far more numerous than the traveling fanatics.

The warriors dropped down from the citadel and fell hundreds of meters. Each warrior carried a bow, a shield, a spear, and a blade strapped to his waist. Their heads were wrapped in cloth, but not hiding it.

The night screamer saw that it was defeated and decided to fly away.

"Oh no, you don't!" Rufus said and gave chase.

He lifted with his wings and began to chase the demon. The night screamer saw this and let out a screech of deathly winds from its mouth. Rufus dodged this and threw a divine sphere at the demon. It was about to stop it, but it was suddenly shot by three large iron arrows, unable to stop the divine sphere. The sphere expanded and exploded, destroying the demon except for the hand that was holding the staff.

After all the demons had been dealt with, a few of the sassan warriors with black armor came to talk to Rufus and his friends.

"Who are you people?" one warrior asked.

"What are you doing here?" the second one asked.

No one knew what to answer.

"Answer me?" the third warrior threatened.

These powerful sassans were talking like they were one being, with one personality, with one soul.

Then from the city of secrets came Div, the djinn guardian of the city of secrets. He flew in a blue gas form and landed right in front of the black-armored sassan warriors.

It didn't take the form of any of the warriors like it didn't dare. Instead, he took the form of Edward and knelt in front of the warriors.

"What the fuck is this guy doing," Edward said like he hated what he was seeing.

"Hold your horses, idiot," Doreen said and hushed him.

Another djinn came forth from the gates of the city. It was in the form of a sassan middle-aged woman. She had a blue dress on and jewelry on her hands. No one felt any divinity from her, but when she walked, a large gathering of the same identical warriors came.

"Perizad, good to see you here. But I believe we could have dealt with this ourselves," the woman said smiling.

"Al Rahman, with all due respect. This is our problem, and we will not let it spill into your lands. Even though we are part of the same heaven," All the warriors spoke in unison.

"Young man. I know how our heaven works. I was there when we agreed to join it."

The woman then looked at the others.

"According to Div, these here are friends and acquaintances of the djinns. They are not to be hurt," the woman told the warriors.

The warriors were about to leave, but then Rufus came, holding the staff of the dead night screamer and yelling," Wait!"

Both the warriors and the woman stopped. Rufus showed the woman the staff.

"What the hell do you think your doing!? Showing that abomination of a tool to a god!" All the warriors yelled.

The woman held his hand up, halting the warriors' yells. She grabbed the staff and took a look at the skulls that were hanging from it. He saw one, a skull of a bird, with a long beak. A tear dropped down from her eye.

"My husband...."

She said, her voice filled with pain and sadness.

Everyone was in shock.

"Who are you!?" the warriors said, pointing their spears at Rufus.

"PREIZAD! DOWN WITH YOUR SPEARS!" the lady yelled angrily.

She released an immense divine aura, getting mad at the warriors.

"How do you think this human mortal knew about your husband and the connection it had with this demon? We must interrogate him!" one of the warriors said.

"It matters not to me. For I am thankful for this. He stopped the demon from escaping and gave me back my husband. So I could bury him in his home city. I am forever thankful to this human," the woman said.

The warriors were furious and looked at Rufus.

"Run along now. Dog of Xerxes. And do not ever dare to hurt any of these brave mortals ever again. DO YOU UNDERSTAND!" the woman said.

The warriors felt angry and then left. The woman then turned to Rufus and said to him, "You are now forever a friend of the djinns and I permit you to enter the city of secrets," the lady said.
