Mystery of Jacob's Blood

JACOB continued examining his face, especially his eyebrows, and made it go up and down, over and over. It was as if he was not satisfied with what he saw in front of the mirror.

And he frowned at the resurrection of a past in the flow of his memory. There are scenes drawn in his memory. Locations that had been buried but now resurfaced were starting to trouble him.

Three days after celebrating his thirteenth birthday, he woke up feeling warm to himself though he was not sick with fever. And as he sat in his bed, he witnessed the gradual expansion of his hands and becoming hairy, which scared him as he kept staring at it. Then it slowly back to normal.

When he looked up, he was startled to find his grandmother standing in the open doorway of his bedroom. She was staring at him intently. He wondered why he wasn't aware that she was there for how long.

Their eyes locked, and he broke that connection and looked away.
